Method of manufacturing encapsulation film and organic light emitting display device using photo- or thermal-curable adhesive
10424758 · 2019-09-24 · ·

Disclosed is an organic light emitting display apparatus. An outer portion of an adhesive layer is set higher in degree of cure than a center portion of the adhesive layer, and thus, a driving defect is prevented from occurring because the adhesive layer stretches in a manufacturing process, and various defects are prevented from being caused by a jig, thereby enhancing reliability and productivity of the organic light emitting display apparatus.

Exterior polymer-based brick building material

A simulated brick includes a polymeric core member (20), a mesh layer (30) adhered to the core member, a basecoat layer (43) covering an entirety of the mesh layer, and a finish layer (46) covering an entirety of the basecoat layer. The core member, the mesh layer, the basecoat layer, and the finish layer together define a brick profile portion (11) having first and second lateral sides extending to a planar outer surface to define a first thickness, and an offset portion (12) extending from the first lateral side of the brick profile portion to a lateral end surface and having an outer surface defining a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, the brick profile portion and the offset portion together defining a planar rectangular base surface (16) extending from the second lateral side of the brick profile portion to the lateral end surface of the offset portion.

Machine and method for paint-roller manufacturing with integrated final cutting online

A paint roller manufacturing system and method are described. In an embodiment, an inner strip of material and an outer strip of material are wound about a mandrel in offset relation. The inner strip of material and the outer strip of material each comprise material that results in a final paint roller which shrinks by less than 2.5 percent of the final paint roller axial length, or which has shrinkage that varies by less +/0.1%, upon hardening and setting. An adhesive is applied to at least a portion of the outer strip as it is wound about the mandrel. A length of fabric is wound about at least the outer strip to form a paint roller tube, and compression is applied to the paint roller tube while advancing the paint roller tube in a direction parallel to the mandrel. A precision measuring or sensing device is used to control a cutting device causing the cutting device to cut the advancing paint roller tube into pre-selected lengths prior to the paint roller tube hardening and setting.

Method of installing a heat tube on pre-insulated piping
10421232 · 2019-09-24 · ·

A method is shown for installing a heat tube on a section of pre-insulated piping. A metal carrier pipe is covered with a first layer of foam insulation. Next, a wire brush is used to cut a longitudinal slot along the length of the pipe so that the pipe exterior surface is exposed from the insulation. A heat tube is then installed within the longitudinal slot, whereby the heat tube contacts the exterior surface of the metal carrier pipe. A second layer of foam insulation is then sprayed onto the exterior of the metal carrier pipe, covering the previously formed longitudinal slot and installed heat tube. A polyolefin coating is then applied over the insulation to form a protective outer jacket for the insulated pipe.

RIGID BOARD PLASTIC FLOORING AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
20190283364 · 2019-09-19 ·

The invention relates to a rigid board plastic flooring comprising a wear layer, a decoration layer, a first connecting layer and a bottom layer which are connected in sequence, and also relates to the production method thereof. The bottom layer of the flooring is prepared using extrusion molding without adding plasticizer. The product is therefore more environmentally friendly. The edge of the click product is not easily damaged during storage and transportation as the bottom layer comprises a plastic hard board and the strength of the click profile is strong.

System and method for producing artisanal decorative veneers
20190283348 · 2019-09-19 ·

A system and method of producing, large, very thin veneer patterns that can be used to decorate furniture such as table tops, flooring and interior decor or any other flat surface that show a plurality of wood end grain patterns. The process includes cutting a plurality of various diameter pieces of wood such as branches to expose the end grain. The pieces are then arranged in a holder with each piece sticking upward so that looking down, the end grain on each piece can be seen. The holder is then filled with a clear or pigmented resin and allowed to set. The hard resin slab is then removed and sawed in to very thin slices. Each thin slice is a desired veneer that can then be further glued onto a table top or the like. Symmetry patterns can be created by arranging veneers from subsequent layers side-by-side in various configurations.
