Apparatus for pasting warm edge spacer
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for pasting a warm edge spacer, comprising: a first and a second conveying mechanism; a rotating mechanism for driving the second conveying mechanism to rotate; a conveying tunnel set in both the first conveying mechanism and the second conveying mechanism; a pressing unit set at the front of the second conveying mechanism; a cutting unit set at the side of the pressing unit; a positioning unit set at the lower side of the pressing unit in correspondence to the exit of the warm edge spacer, and an auxiliary pressing unit set at the upper side of the pressing unit; a pasting unit set at the other side of the warm edge spacer which is opposite to glass. The apparatus for pasting a warm edge spacer can implement automatic pasting operation of warm edge spacer.
Assembly and method for creating folder pockets from printable blank sheets
A printable blank sheet includes a sheet with a top substrate and a bottom layer, a dry lift adhesive connecting the top substrate to the bottom layer, cut lines in the sheet that extend through the top substrate and the dry lift adhesive but not through the bottom layer, and a folder pocket cut into the top substrate with a periphery of the folder pocket defined by the cut lines. The folder pocket can be removed from the sheet by separating the folder pocket and the bottom layer along the dry lift adhesive.
METHOD FOR TRIM PREPARATION OF CAR INTERIOR PARTS AND TRIM AS PREPARED
A method for trim preparation of car interior parts includes the steps of cutting out templates of natural jute or linen fabric primer and a second natural cotton fabric or fiber paper, and impregnation of the fabrics with a water-based adhesive resin in each of the fabrics and drying thereof. The method also includes the steps of fabric pressing, forming a structure by adding an adhesive layer and a decorative sheet, applying primer on the decorative layer and drying it, and applying at least one layer of varnish onto the primer layer and drying it.
METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED LAMINATES
Methods for manufacturing printed laminates or elastic printed laminates are disclosed. The printed laminates may have a first extensible material and a second extensible material. The first extensible material may have a plurality of repeating graphic sets each having a repeating graphic set length. The first extensible material may have a first strain and the second extensible material may have a second, different strain. The second strain may be constant. The first strain may be variable to correspond to the repeating graphic set lengths to a predetermined laminate pitch. The first and second extensible material may be joined together at a point of joinder. An elastic member, such as a plurality of elastic strands, for example, may be positioned intermediate the first and second extensible materials to form an elastic laminate.
Fabricating embedded fragmentation cases for anti-personnel mines
A method of permanently affixing tungsten cube fragments to the fragmentation warhead in a convex Claymore mine having a plastic case and a housing. Pieces of predetermined sized structural film adhesive are positioned at temperature 60 F.5 F., then pressed into the plastic case while pouring tungsten cubes into the case. The cubes are arranged into desired patterns all at temperature 70 F.2 F. An interface plate and 5 lbs of weight are then placed atop thereof and all are heated in an oven at temperature 205 F.5 F. for four hours for full cure of a desired product.
Method for improvement of weatherability of open air processed composites
Compression molding methods for improving the durability and weatherability of a composite material are provided. The methods include disposing a protective surface film on a composite material; adhering the protective surface film to the composite material; and compression molding the protective surface film. The composite material comprises a thermoplastic polymer and a reinforcement material. The protective surface film comprises at least one stabilizer that minimizes or prevents degradation of the underlying composite material when exposed to ultraviolet radiation and/or heat. The composite material may be heated in an oven having an environment comprising oxygen. The protective surface film may be disposed on the composite material prior to the composite material entering the oven; while the composite material is in the oven; or after the composite material exits the oven.
WEB MATERIAL APPLICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for cutting a web material and applying the web material on a substrate. The system comprises a feed roll configured to advance a web material. The system includes an anvil roll configured to receive the web material from the feed roll and provide a section of web material having a defined length. The system includes a cutting element configured to cut the web material to form the section of web material. The anvil roll is configured such that the anvil roll surface advances at an anvil roll surface speed. The feed roll is configured to rotate at a first feed roll surface speed that is slower than the anvil roll surface speed and a second feed roll surface speed that is substantially the same as the anvil roll surface speed when the cutting element cuts the web material.
IN-PROCESS POLYURETHANE EDGE COATING OF LASER CUT POLYURETHANE LAMINATED FABRIC
Processes for forming cosmetically appealing edges on laminated fabric structures are described. The methods involve a laser cutting process that includes in-process melting of polymer material within the laminated fabric so as to coat fibers of the laminated fabric. The resultant cut laminated fabric has a cosmetic edge that has no exposed fibers. The laser cutting and melting can be performed in a single laser cutting operation, making it well suited for integration into manufacturing product lines.
COMPOSITE PANEL, COMPOSITE MATERIAL, IMPREGNATOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE PANEL
A method for manufacturing a composite material, the method comprising: positioning a first fabric layer between a first Kraft paper layer and a second Kraft paper layer; impregnating the first fabric layer with a binding composition while maintaining the first Kraft paper layer and the second Kraft paper layer dry; assembling the impregnated first fabric layer, the first Kraft paper layer and the second Kraft paper layer together to form a first pre-impregnated multilayer assembly; applying pressure on the first pre-impregnated multilayer assembly to diffuse the binding composition from the first fabric layer to the first Kraft paper layer and the second Kraft paper layer; and curing the first pre-impregnated multilayer assembly.
TAPE ATTACHING METHOD AND TAPE ATTACHING APPARATUS
A tape attaching method for mounting an adhesive tape to an annular frame having an inside opening to thereby support a plate-shaped workpiece through the adhesive tape to the frame in the inside opening thereof. The tape attaching method includes an adhesive tape attaching step of attaching the adhesive tape to the workpiece, the adhesive tape being larger in size than the frame, a frame positioning step of positioning the frame with a spacing defined between the frame and the adhesive tape in the condition where the inside opening of the frame is opposed to the workpiece attached to the adhesive tape, and a tape attaching and cutting step of partially pressing the adhesive tape against the frame by using a roller rotating along the inner circumference of the frame defining the inside opening.
