MULTILAYER BATTERY PACK INSULATOR WITH MECHANICALLY JOINED LAYERS
A flexible multilayer battery pack insulator for an electric vehicle has a multilayer wall including a plurality of layers of interlaced mineral material including an inner layer having a first exposed, outwardly facing surface and an outer layer having a second exposed, outwardly facing surface. A first flame-resistant coating is bonded to at least one of the plurality of layers. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is bonded to the first exposed, outwardly facing surface of the inner layer. At least one filament fixes the plurality of layers to one another.
Set of lining plates made of radial tires and a method for manufacturing lining plates made of radial tires
Disclosed is a set of lining plates made of radial tires to protect pieces of equipment from abrasion and to absorb impacts where said set of lining plates comprises a plurality of lining plates made of radial tires that are laid out next to each other in order to line the surface of a given equipment. The lining plates that make up the set are fitted with tongues and grooves so as to allow them to be joined together and make it possible for a perfect fixation through special hook-type screws in order to secure an effective sealing of the equipment surface on which said plates were installed, thus preventing any material from entering the space between the lining plates. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the lining plates of the set using radial tires.
Multi-Ply Lamination System
A method forms a multi-ply laminate. A first cutting system cuts and moves a first group of courses into staging positions. Placement robots pick up and place the first group of courses from the staging positions to a layup surface to form a first ply of the multi-ply laminate, changing an orientation of fibers from an initial orientation to a desired orientation for the first ply. A second cutting system cuts and moves a second group of courses into the staging positions while the placement robots are picking up and placing the first group of courses. The placement robots pick up and place the second group of courses from the staging positions to the layup surface to form a second ply of the multi-ply laminate after the first ply has been formed, changing the orientation of the fibers from the initial orientation to the desired orientation for the second ply.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING GARMENTS OR BANDAGES
In a method for producing garments or bandages two superimposed fabric layers are interconnected by a dot-, line-, or areal elastomer connection wherein on one of the fabric layers a three dimensional upstanding shaped part is formed by a layered application of an elastomer and is connected only to the fabric layer carrying the shaped part.
Recyclable packaging film and article with mechanically pre-slit controlled tear line
A method of forming a flexible packaging film includes providing a first web including a polymer sealant layer, the first web having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. A second web including a polymer outer layer is provided, the second web having a third major surface and a fourth major surface opposite the third major surface. An adhesive layer is applied to the second major surface and the first web is laminated to the third major surface. Prior to laminating the first web to the second web, one or more slits are formed in the second web.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLED SHEET AND INFLATABLE PRODUCT, AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS THEREFOR
A sheet, an inflatable product including the sheet, a sheet manufacturing apparatus, and a sheet manufacturing method are provided. The sheet includes layers of first and second polymer materials, the first polymer material having a higher melting point than the second polymer material, and a fabric layer laminated to the first polymer material by adhesive. The apparatus includes feeding devices outputting the first and second polymer materials in a flowable state; a sheet extrusion die converging the first and second polymer materials into a formed material sheet including a barrier layer and a welding layer formed from the first and second polymer materials; and a lamination device using an adhesive to laminate a fabric sheet to the barrier layer of the formed material sheet, and outputting a laminated material sheet including a fabric layer, an adhesive layer, and a substrate layer including the formed material sheet.
Roof cover board derived from engineered recycled content
Disclosed herein is an improved cover board product with a panel comprising a top surface layer comprised of paper or a fiberglass web; a bottom surface layer comprised of paper, a fiberglass web, nylon film, polyester film, polypropene film, or textiles; and a core layer comprised of paper and thermoplastic fragments connected by a thermoplastic bonding resin. The thermoplastic bonding resin is in a random pattern to less than 100% of the paper and thermoplastic fragment surface area.
Package and container assembly and method of manufacturing same
A package assembly including a first layer having a bottom surface and a top surface, and at least two panels coupled to the top surface of the first layer such that a first panel is disposed along a right edge of the first layer and the second panel is disposed along a left edge of the first layer, the first panel being pivotally engaged to the second panel along an axis, the at least two panels having formed therein a recess.
Apparatus and method for application of sticky back material
An automatic applicator of a sticky back material to a printing sleeve is disclosed. The applicator includes a controller that is programmable with data relating to the size and desired positioning of the sticky back material to the sleeve. The sticky back material is secured to a transport system and cut to the desired size by a cutter, creating a sheet. The sheet is then transported between a pressure roller and the sleeve. The pressure roller applies pressure to the sticky back sheet, applying the sheet to the sleeve. A mandrel grips and rotates the sleeve to apply the sticky back sheet around an exterior surface of the sleeve.
Method for fabricating curved decoration plate and curved display device
A method for fabricating a curved decoration plate and a curved display device includes the following steps. First, a flexible film is provided. The flexible film is pre-cut along a pre-cutting line with a laser in an unfolded state to form a first part and a second part. Then, a curved substrate having an inner surface and an outer surface is provided. The inner surface includes a light-transmitting region and a peripheral region. Next, the flexible film is stuck on the inner surface and the first part is removed. A decoration material layer is then formed on the exposed inner surface of the curved substrate and the second part. Subsequently, the second part and the decoration material layer disposed thereon are removed.
