Fiber-reinforced composite material and method for producing prepreg
A fiber-reinforced composite material including reinforcing fiber layers and a resin layer sandwiched therebetween, wherein conductive particles having a sphericity of 85% or more are disposed in the resin layer, and the fiber-reinforced composite material has a portion where upper and lower reinforcing fiber layers are connected by one conductive particle and has a portion where a conductive particle is sunk in a reinforcing fiber layer. Provided is a fiber-reinforced composite material having sufficient electrical conductivity in a thickness direction with a small addition amount of conductive particles.
In-line lamination process for producing thermoplastic composite panels with textured film layers
In-line systems and in-line methods are described that can be used to provide lightweight reinforced thermoplastic composite articles that include a textured film layer. The textured film layer can provide one or more of water resistance, flame retardancy, a desired surface roughness or other desired properties. The lightweight reinforced thermoplastic composite articles that include a textured film layer can be used in building applications, in recreational vehicle applications and in other applications as desired.
Metal-resin composite and method and apparatus for manufacturing the same
A metal-resin composite includes: a metal plate including at least one cut-and-raised portion including a cutout hole and a cut-and-raised piece; and a resin material disposed only on one surface side of the metal plate, the resin material cured by burying the cut-and-raised portion, the resin material integrated with the metal plate.
Sealing device for an edge joint and drywall
A sealing device can be used for at least one edge joint, which is formed between a floor, a wall, or a ceiling and an adjacent cladding of drywall having cladding. The sealing device contains a sealing profile with a base body for sealing the at least one edge joint on the cladding. The base body has a sealing web which forms a lateral contact surface for the cladding.
MILKING SYSTEM WITH ANALYSIS UNIT
A milking system for sampling and analysing milk includes a milking device, a sampling device to extract a milk sample, and an analysis device for the sample. The analysis device includes a cassette with an analysis tape having a carrier layer with separate vertical flow analysis pads, a tape displacer, a sample provision device providing a droplet of the sample to a selected analysis pad, a sensor to sense a response in the analysis pad after provision of the sample, and a control unit. The analysis pads include a reagent pad with a reagent reacting with a predetermined compound in the sample, a priming pad with a priming agent to change a property of the sample that enhances the reaction, and a bonding layer between the reagent pad and the priming pad, and including a first and second adhesive layer, and a support layer therebetween.
Support plate for installing tile
A support for installing facing materials such as ceramic tiles on a substrate, such as, floors, walls and ceilings. The support plate has a plurality of spaced apart raised portions and recesses in the plate material, and a plurality of openings extending through the top surface and bottom surface of the plate material. The openings exposing a mat layer attached to the bottom of the support plate. Support plates of the invention are used for tile installations between a substrate and tile. Thin-set mortar that is used to secure the tile to the support plate flows into the recesses and into the openings forming a continuous bond between the mortar, openings and mat layer to provide a strong bond between the support plate, mortar and the tiles.
Light control film
A method of manufacturing a light control film. The method includes providing a plurality of alternating layers of transparent material and light absorbing material, where the alternating layers of transparent material and light absorbing material are stacked in a stacking direction. The method also includes cutting, with a triangle wave-shaped edge, across the plurality of alternating layers of transparent material and light absorbing material in a first cutting plane and a second cutting plane thereby resulting in the light control film including a serrated first surface and a serrated second surface, wherein each of the first and second cutting planes is orientated at an angle less than 90 to the stacking direction. The triangle wave-shaped edge includes a cutting edge with a triangular wave shape perpendicular to the first and/or second cutting plane.
VACUUM LAMINATION METHOD
A vacuum lamination method, comprising providing a vacuum lamination device, which comprises an upper lamination unit and a lower lamination unit; providing a sealing film and a substrate; moving at least one of the upper lamination unit and the lower lamination unit, the upper lamination unit and the lower lamination unit are brought close to and joined to each other, and the upper lamination unit and the lower lamination unit jointly surround and form a chamber, the sealing film and the substrate are accommodated in the chamber, and the sealing film and the substrate are not in contact with each other; evacuating the chamber; moving at least one of the sealing film and the substrate to bring the sealing film and the substrate close to each other, so that the sealing film is laminated onto the substrate.
ANTISTATIC FIBER-FOAM SHOE INSOLES, AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
This document discloses antistatic shoe insoles that include a flexible foam layer and antistatic filaments of textile material interspersed throughout the foam layer and extending passed or exposed at the surface of the shoe insole and methods of making such an antistatic shoe insole. The antistatic filaments are needle punched through the foam layer. The antistatic filaments may be any suitable antistatic material blended with any felt fiber such as wool fiber, cotton fiber, polyester fiber, or the like.
Multi-layer laminates and methods of making the same
Disclosed herein are improved multi-layer laminates for decals or embellishments for clothing, e.g., lettering for athletic wear, and methods of producing the same.
