Laminator
A laminator includes a turnover abutment and a film laminating device. The turnover abutment includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and at least one of the first surface and the second surface is a bearing surface on which a plurality of suction structures are provided. The plurality of suction structures are used for sucking a borne object onto the bearing surface. The film laminating device is configured to laminate a film on the borne object on the bearing surface.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CONFORMING FEATURES
A disposable absorbent article is described herein. The disposable absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent system disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. At least a portion of the has a plurality of conforming features such that the absorbent article has a blot residual value of less than 30 mg and a bending stiffness of less than 12.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEPARATED STRIP-LIKE LAMINATE COMPONENTS COMPRISING AN ELECTRONIC COMPONENT EMBEDDED BETWEEN TWO LAMINATE LAYERS OF A TAPE LIKE ADHESIVE MATERIAL, AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING SUCH LAMINATE COMPONENTS
A method for producing separated strip-like laminate components including an electronic component embedded between two laminate layers of a tape-like material. Individual components are placed at defined intervals by a placement device onto a tape-like, lower first laminate layer moved in a conveying direction by a transport device, after which a tape-like, upper second laminate layer moved in the conveying direction is applied to the first laminate layer with embedding of the components to form a laminate tape. The individual strip-like laminate components are cut from the laminate tape by a cutting device having a movable cutting blade, which laminate components are picked up by a gripper device and transported away. The front end of the laminate tape is gripped by the gripper device in the region of a component and moved synchronously with the clocked movement of the transport device by a predetermined distance through the cutting device and positioned relative to the cutting blade. The actual position of the component in the laminate component in relation to the conveying direction is detected by a measuring device connected downstream of the cutting device. When a deviation of the actual position from a defined target position is detected, the synchronous movement of the transport device and the gripper device is controlled in dependence on the detected deviation.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CONFORMING FEATURES
A disposable absorbent article has a topsheet; a backsheet; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a first plurality of conforming features in at least the absorbent core or a combination of the absorbent core and the topsheet. At least a portion of the are depressions, wherein the depressions have a depression centerline bisecting a length and/or width of the depression. A first strut forms a first sidewall of the depression opposite a second sidewall of the depression formed by a second strut, wherein neither of the first strut nor the second strut extend longitudinally and/or laterally beyond the depression centerline by more than 0.75 mm.
POLYESTER CARPET TILE OR CARPET STRIP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A POLYESTER CARPET TILE OR CARPET STRIP
The present invention relates to a carpet tile or carpet strip which is suitable for the contract market, more particularly office or commercial buildings, comprising a machine or mechanically woven carpet, comprising warp and weft yarns, a needle felt, an intermediate layer between the needle felt and the machine or mechanically woven fabric, wherein a part of the warp yarns on the back side of the machine or mechanically woven fabric have at least partially fused together. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of a carpet tile or carpet strip which is suitable for the contract market, in particular office and commercial buildings.
OVENABLE FLEXIBLE PACKAGING STRUCTURE
The present disclosure relates generally to flexible product packaging and, in particular, to flexible packaging structures for products such as food products stored and transported for later reheating or cooking. In one aspect, an ovenable flexible packaging structure includes a paper layer having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface, the paper layer having a cutout defining a window. A printed ink layer is disposed on the first major surface of the paper layer and a varnish layer is disposed over the printed ink layer. A heat sealable polyester layer is disposed on the second major surface of the paper layer, the heat sealable polyester layer having a strip of perforations formed therein. The strip of perforations and the cutout are at least partially overlapping with each other. An adhesive layer intermediate the paper layer and the heat sealable polymer layer includes an adhesive for adhesively bonding the paper layer to the heat sealable polymer layer. In further aspects, packaging articles formed of the flexible packaging structures and methods for making the flexible packaging structures and packaging articles are provided.
Systems for processing material, taping stations to apply tape to one or more rolls of material, and methods of processing material
Systems for processing material, taping stations to apply tape to one or more rolls of material, and methods of processing material are disclosed. A system for processing material includes a winding station and a taping station. The winding station includes a winder to wrap material around a mandrel to produce one or more rolls of material. The taping station is arranged downstream of the winding station to receive the one or more rolls of material therefrom and apply tape to the one or more rolls of material.
Method and apparatus for producing face protection masks
A method and an apparatus for manufacturing, in a continuous flow, face protection masks including a mask body and two U-shaped elastic thread portions, which are formed by bending respective elastic thread portions retained by a group of sectors including a fixed sector and two movable sectors rotatable with respect to the fixed sector.
LAMINATING SYSTEM, LAMINATING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A laminating system includes: a laminator that performs a laminating process by overlaying a film on a plurality of sheets conveyed; and a hardware processor that, before the laminating process, adjusts an interval between sheets, the interval varying in an image former, such that a leading end and a trailing end of the sheets conveyed from the image former are superposed or the interval between the sheets conveyed from the image former is reduced.
