Absorbent article with conforming features
A disposable absorbent article has a topsheet; a backsheet; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a first plurality of conforming features in at least the absorbent core or a combination of the absorbent core and the topsheet. At least a portion of the are depressions, wherein the depressions have a depression centerline bisecting a length and/or width of the depression. A first strut forms a first sidewall of the depression opposite a second sidewall of the depression formed by a second strut, wherein neither of the first strut nor the second strut extend longitudinally and/or laterally beyond the depression centerline by more than 0.75 mm.
Lamination of electrochromic device to glass substrates
Electrochromic device laminates and their method of manufacture are disclosed.
Composite cushioning material and jigless method for making the same
The present application discloses a method for fabricating a composite structure for use as a resilient cushion, including: (a) placing a sheet of first resilient material on a surface; (b) cutting the sheet of first resilient material by pressing a cutter on to the first resilient material to produce a cut sheet of first resilient material displaying a cutting pattern of discrete first resilient elements of defined widths and lengths, wherein at least one of the first resilient elements touches adjacent resilient elements along its side; and (c) mounting a first expanse of material on at least one of the first resilient elements of the cut sheet of first resilient material to form a first composite structure.
Radio frequency identification flat sheet material
The invention relates to the field of radio-frequency identification, in particular, to materials containing radio-frequency tags in their layers and intended for printing and stamping by commonly available printing methods. The technical result of the invention is to obtain the flexible flat sheet material in which the chips and other electronic components do not affect the level of the sheet material surface flatness. The flat sheet material with radio frequency identification contains the sequentially arranged first layer of flexible material, the first intermediate layer, the substrate layer with an antenna and a chip, the second intermediate layer, the second layer of flexible material, and the first intermediate layer made of the polymer composite.
Plenum insert for seat and method of its fabrication
A method of fabricating a plenum insert for a vehicle seat includes the steps of providing an outer material layer having an edge, providing an inner spacer layer, placing the inner spacer layer material on the outer material layer, folding the outer material layer over the inner spacer layer such that the edge overlaps itself, and sealing the overlapping edge of the outer material layer to contain the spacer layer.
Plastic flooring having three-dimensional patterns and method of making the same
A method of making plastic flooring contains steps of: A. providing the substrate and delivering the substrate toward a rolling unit; B. delivering a printing layer, wherein the printing layer is blank and is delivered toward the rolling unit by way of a second delivery roller mechanism; C. rolling, wherein the rolling unit rolls the substrate and the printing layer, and the printing layer has three-dimensional embossing; D. digital printing, wherein color material being printed on three-dimensional embossing by using the digital print unit; E. coating an abrasion resistant layer, wherein a coating unit coats wear-resistant materials of the abrasion resistant layer on the printing layer; and F. shaping, wherein the plastic flooring material is shaped so as to dry and harden the abrasion resistant layer.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article having a lateral direction, a vertical direction, and a front-rear direction that are orthogonal to each other is provided. The absorbent article includes: a first sheet-like member; a second sheet-like member; elastic members that are inserted along the lateral direction between a pair of mutually-opposing facing surfaces of the first sheet-like member and that are spaced apart in the vertical direction; joining portions that join the pair of mutually-opposing facing surfaces and that are spaced part in the lateral direction and in the vertical direction; and side-seal sections disposed at each lateral end portion of the absorbent article. The joining portions are formed on two sides of the elastic members in the vertical direction so that the elastic members are sandwiched and pressed between the joining portions on the two sides.
Methods for making diaper pants with a design having a discontinuous region between a belt and chassis arranged to provide a contiguous appearance
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles and methods for assembling absorbent articles having a design including: a first graphic extending along a first component, a second graphic extending along a second component, and a discontinuous region separating the first graphic from the second graphic. The discontinuous region is configured to provide the appearance that the first and second graphics form a contiguous design while at the same time mitigating the need to precisely align the graphics on separated components to form a contiguous design during the assembly process.
Floor covering with universal backing and methods of making and recycling
A dimensionally stable universal floor covering includes a tufted textile having stitches and a reinforcement layer of fibers and adhesive providing dimensional stability for the entire floor covering. The fibers and adhesive are mixed and then moved by an applicator towards the stitches. A slip path is formed to improve the movement of the fibers and adhesive. A releasable adhesive or gecko-like cover system is provided which also provides additional strength and stability and a releasable attachment of the universal floor covering to a supporting surface.
Laminating apparatus and laminating method using the same
A laminating apparatus includes: a first jig including at least one curved portion; a second jig opposing the first jig; a pad portion on the second jig; a tube between the first jig and the pad portion, the tube contractable and expandable by a fluid to be injected thereinto; a pressure regulator to regulate a pressure of a fluid injected into the tube; and a fluid moving portion connecting the tube and the pressure regulator. A laminating method is also provided.
