The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite sheet comprising an aerogel sheet, which comprises: a step (S10) of preparing a fiber sheet (10); a step (S20) of laminating the aerogel sheet (30) on each of both surfaces of the fiber sheet (10); and a step (S30) of applying heat and a pressure to the aerogel sheet (30) and the fiber sheet (10), which are laminated, to bond the sheets to each other and to manufacture the composite sheet (40) in which the aerogel sheet (30), the fiber sheet (10), the aerogel sheet (30) are laminated.

SELF-WRAPPING SLEEVE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
20190308385 · 2019-10-10 ·

A self-wrapping sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes an elongate multilayered tubular wall having opposite edges extending along a longitudinal axis of the sleeve between opposite ends of the sleeve. The opposite edges are biased into a self-wrapping configuration about the longitudinal axis to define an internal cavity bounded by the tubular wall. The tubular wall includes a non-woven layer of intertwined fibers and a textile layer of interlaced filaments, wherein the non-woven layer is fixed to the textile layer via needled fibers of the non-woven layer being entangled with filaments of the textile layer.

FLAME RETARDANT VENEER PANEL

A veneer panel may include a face veneer, a first inner layer bonded to the face veneer, a second inner layer bonded to the first inner layer, and a thermally conductive layer bonded to the second inner layer. The first inner layer and the second inner layer are treated with a flame retardant. The first inner layer is disposed between the face veneer and the second inner layer, and the second inner layer is disposed between the first inner layer and the thermally conductive layer.

Catheter having a multi-section tubular member and method of making the same

A multi-section tubular member including a sleeve surrounding and bridging a joint between a first section and a second section of the tubular member, and a method of forming a multi-section tubular member are disclosed. A polymeric sleeve may extend over a portion of the first section and an adjoining portion of the second section. A length of heat shrink tubing may be placed over the sleeve and heated, thereby compressing the heat shrink tubing around the sleeve. The sleeve may then be thermally bonded to each of the first section and the second section. The heat shrink tubing may then be removed, leaving the sleeve securely joining the first section and the second section to form a multi-section tubular member.

MULTILAYER FILM

A laminated film includes, at least on one side thereof, a layer containing a hardening resin, having a total thickness of 1 to 100 ?m, a light transmittance of 70% or more at a wavelength of 400 nm, a Young's modulus of 5 GPa or more when applying a nanoindenter to make a 1 ?m depression in the thickness direction into the surface of the hardening layer, and undergoing a rate of deformation of 500 ppm or less after applying a stress of 0.5 MPa for 30 minutes.

A composition for forming a separation layer that separates a support base that transmits light from a laminate including the support base, a substrate, the separation layer and an adhesive layer between the support base and the substrate by irradiating the separation layer with light from the support base side and modifying the separation layer. The composition contains a resin component which has a phenol skeleton.

SHROUDED ROTARY ASSEMBLY FROM SEGMENTED COMPOSITE FOR AIRCRAFT

A shrouded rotor assembly for an aircraft. The shrouded rotor assembly comprises a stator hollow structure comprises formed from a plurality of composite angular segments. Each composite angular segment includes: a core arched section of a central hub casing, a peripheral rim section of an external hollow duct and a pair of angularly opposed sliced portions, respectively for one of a pair of guide vanes. The resulting stator hollow structure is a unitary one-piece, integrating together continuously the composite angular segments. The invention typically applies e.g. to aircrafts such as rotary wing aircrafts.
