The decorative paper may be impregnated with a second thermosetting resin before being laminated.
HYBRID UNIDIRECTIONAL AND BRAIDED COMPOSITE LAMINATES, AND RELATED METHODS
At least one braided composite layer configured to form a first ply may be provided. A plurality of slit tapes may be arranged and aligned such that each slit tape is adjacent to one another and non-overlapping, to form a second ply. A hybrid composite laminate may be formed by stacking a plurality of plies that includes at least one first ply and at least one second ply. Each slit tape may be a steered unidirectional composite slit tape that is aligned along an axis, contour line, or curve of the hybrid composite laminate, a mold/tooling used to shape the laminate, or the resulting composite part. Hybrid composite laminates may be formed by stacking at least one first ply formed of a braided composite layer and at least one second ply formed from a plurality of slit tapes. Composite parts may be formed by consolidating such hybrid composite laminates.
Method For Producing a Moldable, Thermoplastic, Continuous Fiber Reinforced Composite Structure, Moldable Composite Structure, and Device For Producing Same
The invention is characterized by a semifinished composite structure product with the at least two layers, of which the at least one layer, in which the continuous fibers are contained, is heated such that the matrix of thermoplastic material is heated within at least one first surface region to or above a melting temperature that can be assigned to the thermoplastic material, and the matrix of thermoplastic material is kept to a temperature below the melting temperature within a second surface region directly adjoining the first surface region. The semifinished composite structure product is heated in this way so that the moldable thermoplastic, continuous fiber-reinforced composite structure in which the continuous fibers within the first surface region are movable relative to each other and those within the second surface region are spatially fixed relative to each other.
CONDUCTIVE FILM FOR ANTENNAS, AND ANTENNA
Provided is a conductive film for antennas, in which a conducting film and a substrate made of a polycarbonate resin material containing a polycarbonate resin are laminated, and the polycarbonate resin contains, as main constituent units, a unit (A) represented by the following formula (1) and/or a unit (B) represented by the following formula (2). The conductive film for antennas has low dielectric characteristics and bendability, can form an antenna with a low transmission loss, and has excellent adhesion to the conducting film.
