Provided are a glass substrate protective film including an optically transparent adhesive layer; a polyimide-based shatter-proof layer formed on the optically transparent adhesive layer; and a hard coating layer formed on the polyimide-based shatter-proof layer. The hard coating layer and the optically transparent adhesive layer have a thickness of 5 to 20 μm, the polyimide-based shatter-proof layer has a thickness of 20 to 50 μm, the glass substrate protective film has an absolute value of a retardation in a thickness direction (R.sub.th) of 2000 nm or less, and an adhesive strength when the optically transparent adhesive layer adheres to the glass substrate is 200 gf/in or more. A method for manufacturing the glass substrate laminate and a display panel including the glass substrate laminate are also provided.

Disclosed is a new multi-layer nonwoven interlining and the production process thereof. The process allows a multi-layer nonwoven interlining to be obtained simultaneously with a single process on a single production line. The process includes a fiber opening step, a fiber feeding step, a carding step, a levelling step of the additional layer by the thermal treatment, and a point bonding step of the carded web and additional layer. As a result of the process, a structure is obtained where the carded web is point-bonded onto the additional layer.

A multilayer structure includes a layer of a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein a mass ratio of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer to the thermoplastic elastomer is from 65/35 to 95/5 and the layer of the resin composition has one surface directly adjacent to a layer of polyolefin with no polar functional group. A multilayer structure is thus provided that is excellent in gas barrier properties, transparency, and flexibility and also has good delamination properties between the layer of the resin composition and the layer of the polyolefin with no polar functional group.

MDO thermoresistant heat-shrinkable film

The present invention relates to an MDO heat-shrinkable film of a copolymer polyester having excellent thermal resistance. In particular, the present invention provides a copolymer polyester MDO (machine direction orientation) thermoresistant heat-shrinkable film that consists of a copolymer polyester resin including isosorbide and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol at an optimized content ratio as a diol component copolymerized with an acid component including terephthalic acid, and having a number average molecular weight of 18,000 g/mol or more, and can be used for labels, cap seals, direct packaging, etc. of various containers due to the high shrink initiation temperature.

Resin composition, production method for resin composition, and molded body using resin composition

There is provided a resin composition, comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a nonionic surfactant, wherein the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer has an ethylene unit content of 15 to 60 mol %, and a saponification degree of 90 mol % or more; the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is contained as a major component; and the nonionic surfactant is contained at 3 to 400 ppm. The resin composition is produced by melt-kneading a mixture comprising the nonionic surfactant, water and the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. By using the resin composition thus produced, a discharge amount during melt molding can be increased and a molded article with an excellent appearance can be provided.
