A laminate of the present invention includes, in a thickness direction of the laminate, a transfer foil in which at least a patch substrate, a relief forming layer, a reflective layer, and an adhesive layer are sequentially laminated, a protective sheet that is provided on a first side of the transfer foil in the thickness direction, and an information recording sheet that is provided on a second side of the transfer foil facing away from the protective sheet in the thickness direction.
LAMINATE OF MULTILAYER FILMS AND PROCESS THEREOF
A laminate includes a multilayer outer film, which includes a first barrier layer and polyolefin layer on both sides of the first barrier layer, and a multilayer middle film, which includes a second barrier layer and polyolefin layer on both sides of the second barrier layer. The polyolefin layer of the multilayer outer film towards the multilayer middle film and/or the polyolefin layer of the multilayer middle film towards the multilayer outer film is metallized with a metal selected from aluminum, nickel, chromium, or combinations thereof. A process can be used for preparing the laminate and an article can include the laminate.
ACRYLIC LAMINATE FILM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND DECO SHEET PRODUCED THEREFROM
The present invention pertains to: an acrylic laminate film containing an acrylic copolymer and having a three-layer structure of an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and an outer layer; a method for producing same; and a deco sheet produced therefrom. An object of the present invention is to provide a three-layer-structured acrylic laminate film produced from an acrylic copolymer. Another object of the present invention is to provide: an acrylic laminate film having significantly improved optical properties and surface smoothness by using an acrylic copolymer alone without mixing the same with additional polymers; and a method for producing the acrylic laminate film. Still another object of the present invention is to provide: an acrylic laminate film that exhibits significantly reduced whitening even when a flexural stress is applied; and a method for producing the acrylic laminate film.
MULTILAYER FILM FOR RECLOSABLE PACKAGE WITH A POLYETHYLENE LAYER OBTAINED BY FLAT SHEET COEXTRUSION
A multilayer film comprises an adhesive layer A comprising an HMPSA composition (a); a complexable thin layer B comprising a PolyEthylene (PE) composition (b); and a heat-sealable and breakable layer C comprising a PolyEthylene (PE) composition (c). Layers B and C are bonded together by layer A. The film is characterized in that (i) the melt flow indices of compositions (b) and (c), denoted MFI(b) and MFI(c), respectively, are each between 2.5 and 15 g/10 minutes; and (ii) the melt flow index of composition (a), denoted MFI(a), is such that the ratios MFI(a)/MFI(b) and MFI(a)/MFI(c) are each between 1.5 and 10. A process for manufacturing the film comprises flat sheet coextrusion of composition (a) and of compositions (b) and (c) at a temperature of between 150° C. and 250° C. The multilayer film can be used for the manufacture of resealable packaging.
BETAPROPIOLACTONE AND FUNCTIONALIZED BETAPROPIOLACTONE BASED POLYMER SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein are polymers, copolymers and polymer systems based on polypropiolactones which can be biodegradable and can enhance the recyclability of polymer systems, which can be functionalized to introduce desired functionality into the polymers and/or which may optionally be prepared from renewable raw materials. Disclosed are novel functionalized beta propiolactones. Some of the novel functionalized beta propiolactones have functional groups bound to the ring structure of the lactone that provide improved polymer systems. Disclosed are novel homopolymers of the functionalized beta propiolactones. Disclosed are novel copolymers based on the functionalized beta propiolactones with beta propiolactone or other monomers which copolymerize with the functionalized beta propiolactones.
Polymer Composites and Methods of Making the Same
Polymer composites may be made by providing a first polymer material; treating the first polymer material; providing a second polymer material; and pressing the first polymer material and the second polymer material. The polymer composites may be incorporated into ballistic resistant materials and soft armor articles.
MOISTURE BARRIER LAMINATED FILM
A moisture barrier laminated film (10) includes: a plastic film (A) having an inorganic barrier layer (A1); a moisture trapping layer (B) containing an alkali component; and a coating layer (C) provided between the inorganic barrier layer (A1) and the moisture trapping layer (B). In the coating layer (C), a moisture permeability at 40° C. and 90%RH is 6.0 × 10.sup.4 g/m.sup.2/day or less, and a storage modulus E′ (at 2π rad/s) in viscoelasticity measurement at 85° C. is 30 MPa or more.
PIPE FOR CONVEYING FLUIDS IN HVACR SYSTEMS
The present invention relates to a composite coating for an inner tube delimiting a passageway for a fluid for obtaining a pipe for conveying fluids in HVACR systems.
Multilayer structure and use of same
A multilayer structure includes a layer of a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein a mass ratio of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer to the thermoplastic elastomer is from 65/35 to 95/5 and the layer of the resin composition has one surface directly adjacent to a layer of polyolefin with no polar functional group. A multilayer structure is thus provided that is excellent in gas barrier properties, transparency, and flexibility and also has good delamination properties between the layer of the resin composition and the layer of the polyolefin with no polar functional group.
Resin composition, production method for resin composition, and molded body using resin composition
There is provided a resin composition, comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a nonionic surfactant, wherein the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer has an ethylene unit content of 15 to 60 mol %, and a saponification degree of 90 mol % or more; the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is contained as a major component; and the nonionic surfactant is contained at 3 to 400 ppm. The resin composition is produced by melt-kneading a mixture comprising the nonionic surfactant, water and the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. By using the resin composition thus produced, a discharge amount during melt molding can be increased and a molded article with an excellent appearance can be provided.
