Shielding device for shading and rain protection purposes
A shielding device for shielding against weather influences that includes a textile sheet material which is stretched two-dimensionally or can be rolled out and which forms a shield against weather influences, in particular, against solar radiation and/or rain. The textile material has warp threads and weft threads connected together in a lattice-like manner so as to form a fabric. A foam layer which has foam pores that are separated from one another by solid foam walls is applied onto the textile sheet material on at least one side of the textile sheet material.
Method of pouring polyisocyanurate foam directly onto a facer to improve cell orientation and density stratification
A method of forming a polyisocyanurate foam board includes providing a polyol and adding an isocyanate to the polyol to form a polyisocyanurate foam. A first inner surface of a first facer material is treated with a first flow of hydroxyl containing molecules. A second inner surface of a second facer material is treated with a second flow of hydroxyl containing molecules. The polyisocyanurate foam is coupled to the first treated inner surface and the second treated inner surface such that the polyisocyanurate is sandwiched between the first facer material and the second facer material, thereby exposing opposing outer surfaces of the polyisocyanurate foam to the hydroxyl containing molecules. A density of a medial portion of the polyisocyanurate foam is greater than a density of the polyisocyanurate at the opposing outer surfaces.
Robust multi-layer building construction tape and related framing members
Robust multi-purpose, multi-layer, building construction tapes and building construction framing members and related wall assemblies are disclosed that comprise a sheet metal framing member (all profiles) in combination with a new and more robust type of multi-layer building construction tape for fire safety and sound reduction. The multi-layer building construction tape comprises a flexible thermal barrier layer attached to (1) a flexible intumescent material layer having a lesser width (thereby enabling flex-lock rollover) and/or (2) a resilient unfoamed cross-linked polyethylene layer. In combination, the thermal barrier layer is on a surface of the sheet metal framing member, whereas the thermal barrier layer is attached to the intumescent layer or polyethylene layer (as the case may be) such that the thermal barrier layer is between the sheet metal framing member and the intumescent layer or the polyethylene layer. The multi-layer building construction tapes disclosed herein slow and impede the spread of fire and smoke (during a fire) and also reduces sound transmission between adjacent rooms in a building.
CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
The present invention is directed to a curable composition including: an isocyanate-functional prepolymer; an epoxy-containing component present in an amount of at least 10 percent by weight of the composition; and a latent curing agent having an ability to react with at least one of the isocyanate-functional prepolymer and the epoxy-containing component upon exposure to an external energy source. The present invention is also directed to methods of making the compositions, methods of coating a substrate, methods of adhering substrates and coated substrates.
ABSORBENT NONWOVEN MATERIALS
The presently disclosed subject matter relates to multi-layer nonwoven materials and their use in absorbent articles, e.g., as absorbent cores and/or acquisition distribution layers (ADL). More particularly, the presently disclosed subject matter relates to layered structures that provide for improved liquid acquisition, distribution, storage and rewet properties while allowing for the use of less synthetic materials, such as superabsorbent polymers (SAP) than other commercially available materials.
Laminated Type Patch
The present disclosure, for example, can include a laminated type patch A, comprising a release layer 1, a drug layer 2, a drug support layer 3 having elasticity, an adhesive layer 4, and an adhesive support layer 5 laminated in this order, wherein the outer edges of the release layer, the adhesive layer, and the adhesive support layer are all outside the outer edges of both the drug layer and the drug support layer; wherein the portion surrounded by the outer edges of the drug layer and the drug support layer, and the inner sides of the release layer and the adhesive layer has a space; and wherein the cross-sectional area of the space is 0.3 mm2 or more, at least when cut along the longitudinal centerline and the transverse centerline on the plane surfaces of the drug layer and the drug support layer.
The embedded storage space structure of air mattress having a three-dimensional fabric
The present invention relates to an embedded accommodation space structure of an air mattress made of three-dimensional woven fabrics, the structure providing, when an air mattress that has an airtightness-exhibiting coating layer, which is formed on the outer surface of three-dimensional woven fabric woven from a plurality of pieces of pile yarn connecting the space between woven surfaces facing each other at both sides thereof, so as to be inflated by means of air pressure is manufactured, an independent space in which electric components such as a speaker for generating sound and vibration and an air pump for filling the mattress with air can be provided in a concealed state, so that the exposure of the electric components is blocked while maintaining sound transmission characteristics through the pile yarn, and thus convenience of use and exterior attractiveness can be increased. The structure for providing the independent space while maintaining the vibration characteristics of the pile yarn, inside a normal air mattress in which the three-dimensional woven fabrics are used as a base, is characterized in that a barrel-shaped box, of which the upper part is blocked by a flange formed on the outer peripheral surface of an opening so that the electric components such as the speaker for transmitting sound and the air pump for injecting air are selectively accommodated therein through the opening provided at the bottom surface thereof, and a cylinder-shaped isolated part, of which the side is opened in a state in which the plurality of pieces of pile yarn is woven above the box so as to be vertically connected between upper and lower woven surfaces and coating films are respectively formed on the outer sides of the upper and lower woven surfaces, are integrally joined therein.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CARRIER LAYER WITH A HYDROPHILIC POLYMERIC NANOCOATING
The invention relates to a method for producing a carrier layer with a hydrophilic polymeric nanocoating wherein a polymeric carrier layer is produced with filaments of polymer material(s). Further the hydrophilic polymer nanocoating is applied by means of a low pressure plasma polymerization process using organic precursor monomers onto the polymeric carrier layer and/or composite membrane. Additionally, the invention relates to a carrier layer with a polymeric hydrophilic nanocoating.
ATHLETIC BRA
An athletic bra comprising an outer shell and an inner layer is provided. The outer shell is configured to lay distal from a wearer when the athletic bra is worn, and the outer shell includes a fabric comprising polyamide and spandex. The inner layer is configured to lay more proximal to the wearer than the outer shell when the athletic bra is worn.
