COATED FABRICS INCLUDING EXPANDABLE GRAPHITE
A method for preparing a roofing membrane in the form of a roll, comprising the steps of: providing a polymeric membrane; providing a fabric having a coating disposed thereon; attaching the polymeric membrane to the fabric to form a composite; and rolling the composite. Wherein the coating includes expandable graphite dispersed within a binder.
PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a piezoelectric device capable of exhibiting high power-generation performance without impairing flexibility and a method of manufacturing the piezoelectric device. The piezoelectric device includes a multilayer structure 1 in which a polymer nonwoven fabric 3 holding or containing piezoelectric ceramic particles 4 and a polymer resin sheet 2 containing piezoelectric ceramic particles are stacked such that at least one layer of the polymer nonwoven fabric is included. This multilayer structure can provide an electric power output equal to or larger than the electric power output produced by a multilayer structure in which a layer of the polymer resin sheet is stacked on each of two main surface sides of a layer of the polymer nonwoven fabric.
Reinforced water-resistant board with traffic coat
A reinforced water-resistant board includes a cover board with a reinforced water-resistant membrane applied to a surface of the cover board. The reinforced water-resistant membrane includes a primer layer, a reinforced membrane, a traffic coat, and a sealing layer. The primer layer is applied over the surface of the cover board. The reinforced membrane includes fleece soaked in a liquid resin and is applied over the primer layer. The traffic coat is bonded to the reinforced member. The sealing layer is applied over the traffic coat.
Treated Walnut Shell Infill For Artificial Turf
An infilled artificial turf surface [18] includes a particulate infill [24] with at least a top layer [28] that comprises a mixture of Black walnut shell particles [30] and English walnut shell particles [32], the walnut shell particles [30, 32] having been treated so as to eliminate or substantially remove tree nut allergens that are known to activate allergies in some humans. Preferably, treatment occurs via heat treatment in a rotary furnace, which also rounds and smoothes the particles [30, 32]. Particularly if used in the top layer [28] of a particulate infill [24] of an artificial turf surface [18], the shape and size and proportion of the Black walnut shell particles [30] and the English walnut shell particles [32] provide stability for the resulting turf surface [18], while also being able to absorb water applied thereto, thereby to hold moisture and to provide evaporative cooling of the artificial turf surface [18] for up to about five hours.
Facilitated detailing for pre-applied waterproofing membranes
The invention provides a waterproofing membrane which does not require a removable release sheet but which nevertheless bonds to post-cast concrete and facilitates water-tight sealing at membrane-to-membrane overlaps. The waterproofing membrane comprises a carrier and pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layers, an inorganic particle layer having particulate bodies which are partially embedded in the PSA and which have an average particle size less than the average thickness of the PSA layer, and an anti-submarining nano-silica-containing coating layer attached to un-embedded portions of the inorganic particles to prevent total embedding into the PSA when the membrane is rolled or unrolled, whereby water-tight seams are facilitated between overlapped portions of adjacently installed waterproofing membranes, and whereby the water-tight seam is achieved preferably using only detailing or waterproofing tape and without the additional use of a liquid primer, mastic, or other coating.
Wear resistant decorative surface coverings, and process for manufacturing thereof
A decorative surface covering (1) defining a thickness direction (N) and comprising an assembly (5) having along the thickness direction: a core layer (5A) comprising a first thermoplastic composition (12), the first thermoplastic composition including one or several thermoplastic polymer(s), P1 phr of one or several filler(s), and P2 phr of one or several plasticizer(s), at least one reinforcement layer (5B), a wear layer (5D) comprising at least a second thermoplastic composition (14), and including one or several thermoplastic polymer(s), P1 phr of one or several filler(s), and P2 phr of one or several plasticizer(s). P1 and P2 are respectively greater than P1 and P2.

Stone plastic composite (SPC) floor comprising decorative surface
A stone plastic composite (SPC) floor includes a decorative surface. The SPC floor has an SPC substrate and a decorative surface formed on the SPC substrate; the decorative surface is a wooden board or a bamboo board; the moisture content of the decorative surface is controlled within 5-7%. The SPC substrate is divided into an upper layer, a middle layer, and a lower layer, and the main components of the SPC substrate comprise polyvinyl chloride resin powder, calcium carbonate, a calcium-zinc stabilizer, an inner lubricant, PE wax, chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), acrylic ester (ACR), a composite lubricant, and a coloring agent. The SPC floor can ensure that the decorative surface does not wrap and deform, and other performances of the floor are not affected, and thus is low in costs.
LABELED MOLDED CONTAINER HAVING LIGHT CONTRAST AT THREE-DIMENSIONAL END PORTION
Disclosed is a labeled molded container having a container main body and a label, wherein a label surface is provided with a flat portion, a concave-convex pattern, and an edge portion between the convex portion or concave portion and the flat portion, and wherein when observing the labeled molded container from a surface-side thereof by illuminating light from a backside of the container, the edge portion is seen brighter than the flat portion and the concave-convex pattern.
