Labeled molded container having light contrast at three-dimensional end portion
Disclosed is a labeled molded container having a container main body and a label, wherein a label surface is provided with a flat portion, a concave-convex pattern, and an edge portion between the convex portion or concave portion and the flat portion, and wherein when observing the labeled molded container from a surface-side thereof by illuminating light from a backside of the container, the edge portion is seen brighter than the flat portion and the concave-convex pattern.
HIGH PRESSURE DECORATIVE LAMINATE HAVING A TOP LAYER OF ENERGY CURED ACRYLATED URETHANE POLYMER
A laminate lay-up includes a coated decorative paper layer having a decorative paper layer with a textured coating layer applied thereto. The textured coating layer is comprised of a UV curable coating composition. The laminate lay-up also includes a decorative layer and a core layer.
INTER-PENETRATING ELASTOMER NETWORK DERIVED FROM GROUND TIRE RUBBER PARTICLES
Crumb rubber obtained from recycled tires is subjected to an interlinked substitution process. The process utilizes a reactive component that interferes with sulfur bonds. The resulting treated rubber exhibits properties similar to those of the virgin composite rubber structure prior to being granulated, and is suitable for use in fabricating new tires, engineered rubber articles, and asphalt rubber for use in waterproofing and paving applications.
Facilitated Detailing for Pre-Applied Waterproofing Membranes
The invention provides a waterproofing membrane which does not require a removable release sheet but which nevertheless bonds to post-cast concrete and facilitates water-tight sealing at membrane-to-membrane overlaps. The waterproofing membrane comprises a carrier and pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layers, an inorganic particle layer having particulate bodies which are partially embedded in the PSA and which have an average particle size less than the average thickness of the PSA layer, and an anti-submarining nano-silica-containing coating layer attached to un-embedded portions of the inorganic particles to prevent total embedding into the PSA when the membrane is rolled or unrolled, whereby water-tight seams are facilitated between overlapped portions of adjacently installed waterproofing membranes, and whereby the water-tight seam is achieved preferably using only detailing or waterproofing tape and without the additional use of a liquid primer, mastic, or other coating.
Methods and Apparatus for Three- Dimensional Printed Composites Based on Folded Substrate Sheets
A three-dimensional object comprises substantially planar or flat substrate layers that are folded and stacked in a predetermined order and infiltrated by a hardened material. The object is fabricated by positioning powder on all or part of multiple substrate layers. On each layer, the powder is selectively deposited in a pattern that corresponds to tiles that each have a slice of the object. For each slice, powder is deposited in positions that correspond to positions in the slice where the object exists, and not deposited where the object does not exist. The tiles of each substrate layer are folded and aligned in a predetermined order. Multiple folded substrate layers mat be combined into a single stack. The powder is transformed into a substance that flows and subsequently hardens into the hardened material in a spatial pattern that infiltrates positive regions, and does not infiltrate negative regions, in the substrate layers.
Vulcanized Inflatable Product Comprising Spacing Fabric
Vulcanized inflatable product comprising an impervious shell which forms the wall of at least one inflatable chamber (1) and which is provided with a valve (2) for inflating and deflating the inflatable product, at least one spacing fabric (41) being arranged inside the inflatable chamber (1), said spacing fabric comprising a first fabric layer (44) and a second fabric layer (45) mutually tied up by means of interconnecting threads (46) for delimiting the maximum distance therebetween, the first fabric layer (44) of the spacing fabric being directly or indirectly secured to one of the inner walls of the outer shell (5) of the inflatable chamber by means of a vulcanized rubber mixture and the other fabric layer (45) of the spacing fabric being directly or indirectly secured to the opposite inner wall of the outer shell (5) of the inflatable chamber by means of a vulcanized rubber mixture.
CURABLE POLYMERIC COATINGS FOR FUNCTIONAL SURFACE PREPARATIONS
The present invention is directed to a curable polymer comprising: a base acrylic monomer (monomer A); a monomer with bioactive functionality (monomer B); a monomer containing a cross-linker (monomer C). The present invention also relates to a method of making a polymer coating on a solid support. The present invention also relates to a method of preserving a product.
ELECTRONIC COMPONENT AND METHOD THEREOF
An electronic component includes an element main body and at least a pair of outer electrodes on the element main body. The outer electrodes each include an underlying electrode layer positioned so as to be in contact with the element main body and a plating layer positioned so as to be in contact with the underlying electrode layer. The plating layer includes a NiSn alloy plating layer positioned so as to be in contact with the underlying electrode layer.
Abrasive article
An abrasive article is provided which comprises a plurality of layers in the following order: a backing; an abrasive layer; a primer layer comprising clay particles, wherein the clay particles are agglomerated and form a layer; and a supersize coat comprising a metal salt of a long-chain fatty acid. The addition of the aforementioned primer layer can significantly reduce loading of swarf and improve both the cut and expected lifetime of the abrasive article.
SYNTHETIC RUBBER TILE WITH THERMAL RESISTANCE MODULATION
A prefabricated tile-type coating, whose manufacture is based on the development of a polymeric composite including mainly recycled synthetic rubber obtained from the grinding of scrap automotive waste tires, virgin rubber, or a combination of both, using as a binder a novel cross-linkable acrylic resin with the ability to be processed by pultrusion. The upper layer of the tile is made of a resin with thermochromic effect that integrates an encapsulated pigment of thermochromic material with a transition temperature in the range of 20-35 C. which changes color from white under high-temperature conditions, i.e. C. or greater than dark in conditions of low temperature, that is, 20 C. or less. The tile of elastomeric character obtained has notable competitive advantages compared to other technologies in terms of thermal resistance, solar reflectance, and resistance to the impact caused by hail or other meteorological phenomena.
