Exposed-Lens Retroreflective Article Comprising Localized Color Layers
An exposed-lens retroreflective article including a binder layer and a plurality of retroreflective elements. Each retroreflective element includes a transparent microsphere partially embedded in the binder layer. At least some of the retroreflective elements comprise a reflective layer disposed between the transparent microsphere and the binder layer and at least one localized color layer that is embedded between the transparent microsphere and the reflective layer.
COMPOSITE SHINGLE INCLUDING POLYKETONE
Various embodiments disclosed relate to a composite shingle. The composite shingle includes a particle layer and a polyketone layer proximate to the particle layer.
Thermal/Acoustical Liner
A multi-layer liner material for use as a thermal and acoustical insulator which is lightweight, breathable, hydrophobic, oleophobic and fire-resistant. A central insulation core layer is contacted on a first surface by a first highly breathable layer and on a second surface by a second highly breathable layer, such that these three layers are resistant to water or oil penetrating the insulation core layer causing the liner to gain weight. The first and second highly breathable layers are preferably made from inherently flame resistant fibers and treated with a fluorocarbon surface treatment for water repellency, UV resistance and mold/mildew resistance. The first highly breathable layer is adjacent a facing layer while the second highly breathable layer is adjacent a backing layer. At least one surface of one of the first or second highly breathable layers, or facing or backing layers may include a carbon printing pattern to provide ESD protection.
Fluid-filled chamber for an article of footwear
A fluid-filled chamber is provided and includes a first barrier layer, a second barrier layer, a foam structure, and a tensile member. The second barrier layer is secured to the first barrier layer to define an interior void between the first barrier layer and the second barrier layer. The interior void contains a predetermined volume of fluid. The foam structure and the tensile member are disposed within the interior void, whereby the tensile member includes a plurality of fibers extending in a first direction between the first barrier layer and the second barrier layer.
Composite sheet material and method for forming the same
A composite sheet material and method for forming the same is provided that includes a substrate, a matrix, and a cover sheet. The substrate has a first face surface, a second face surface, and a plurality of edges, and includes a thermoplastic material. The matrix is attached to the substrate. The matrix includes a support component having a first melting point, and a thermoplastic component having a second melting point. The second melting point is less than the first melting point. The cover sheet imparts one or more surface characteristics to the composite sheet material during thermo-pressure formation of the composite sheet material.
Assembly manufacturing method
Disclosed is an assembly manufacturing method comprising: cutting a prepreg into a prepreg sheet according to a first parameter; moving the prepreg sheet to an assembly arrangement area according to a second parameter; superimposing a metal foil and a plate according to a fourth parameter to form a copper foil set; and assembling the copper foil set and the prepreg sheet according to a third parameter to form an assembly.
Composite shingle including polyketone
Various embodiments disclosed relate to a composite shingle. The composite shingle includes a particle layer and a polyketone layer proximate to the particle layer.
FLOOR ELEMENT FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING, A FLOOR COVERING, AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FLOOR ELEMENT
A floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises a decorative layer made of a ceramic material and a support layer arranged below the decorative layer, wherein the support layer comprises edges provided with coupling elements configured to allow a mechanical coupling with coupling elements of an adjacent floor element, wherein the floor element comprises an intermediate layer having a resin material that permeates a lower surface of the decorative layer, and wherein the intermediate layer is an adhesive layer that bonds together the decorative layer and the support layer.
FLOOR ELEMENT FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING, A FLOOR COVERING, AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FLOOR ELEMENT
A floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises: a decorative layer made of a ceramic material; a support layer arranged below the decorative layer; and an intermediate layer comprising a rigid resin material that permeates a lower surface of the decorative layer, wherein the decorative layer is between 8 and 10 mm thick, wherein the support layer is made of rigid PVC, comprises more than 30 wt % of filler material and is less than 6 mm thick, and wherein the floor element comprises an intermediate reinforcing layer having a resin material that permeates a lower surface of the decorative layer, wherein the intermediate reinforcing layer is an adhesive layer that bonds together the decorative layer and the support layer.
INSULATING STRUCTURES
Described herein are insulating structures that include at least one microporous layer including a plurality of pores, a porous layer adjacent to the microporous layer, and a monolithic aerogel structure extending through the plurality of pores of the microporous layer and through at least part of the porous layer. The microporous layer filters aerogel dust from cracked or damaged aerogel within the scaffold, slowing or preventing loss of dust from the insulating structures.
