Curative
An illustrative embodiment of a manufactured surface component may be comprised of a textile material on a first face and an elastomer material on a second face, wherein said elastomer material is bonded to said textile material, wherein said manufactured surface component is substantially planarly configured, wherein an area of said first face and said second face is from about 0.04 square inches to about 4.0 square inches, wherein a thickness of said manufactured surface component is from about 0.3 mm to about 2.5 mm, and wherein said manufactured surface component is substantially free of any petrochemical-derived plastics, petrochemicals, and toxins.
ABSORBENT CONVERTIBLE RAISED SIDE CRIB OR CAGE LINER
A cage liner is disclosed having a comfortable bed and continuous sidewall which may be moisture wicking, provide comfortable padding for pets, include an additional absorbent layer, and may include a waterproof or moisture resistant backing layer. The cage liner may be disassembled to lie flat and may be easily washable, folded, and stored.
CLEANING SYSTEM INCORPORATING STITCH BONDED CLEANING PAD WITH MULTI-FILAMENT STITCHES
A cleaning pad structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating one or more substrate layers of an absorbent nonwoven material with an optional additional fluid blocking substrate layer of polymer film or other suitable material in juxtaposed relation to the absorbent nonwoven layers. Stitching yarns are introduced in stitching relation through the substrate layers. One face of the pad defines a cleaning surface of raised yarn loops formed by the stitched yarns. The pad further includes an attachment surface facing away from the cleaning surface. The stitches of yarns across the attachment surface define an engagement surface for attachment to cooperating hooking elements across a surface of a mop head to define a hook and loop attachment system.
STRETCHABLE LAMINATES
The present invention provides stretchable laminates with a flat appearance on the visible surface. The laminates comprise a textile layer, a functional layer, and a plurality of elastic fibers. The plurality of elastic fibers are in a substantially parallel arrangement and the internal distance between adjacent fibers does not exceed the maximum fiber spacing, which depends on laminate thickness in a stretched state. Also provided are garments and footwear comprising the stretchable laminates and methods of producing the stretchable laminates.
PRODUCTION METHOD OF HIGH PERFORMANCE FILTRATION LAYER AND THEIR APPLICATION ON MASK
Disclosed is a production method of filtration layers that can be used in many fields, especially surgical masks. The aforementioned filtration layers are thermobond non-woven layers and layers formed by supporting it with an electrospinning method. Thermobond non-woven layer is obtained as a result of a process that includes fiber opening, fiber feeding, carding and bonding.
Insulating Materials And Methods Thereof
Insulating articles, assemblies and methods are provided. The insulating articles include a core layer (101,201) containing a plurality of non-meltable fibers; and at least one reinforcement layer (102, 202) disposed on the core layer (101,201). The insulating article has tensile strength of at least 0.75 newtons/millimeter according to ASTM D822 and a tear strength of at least 2 newtons under ASTM D1938, wherein the insulating article has a surface electrical resistivity of at least 15 M-ohm at a relative humidity of 85% and temperature of 30° C., wherein the insulating article has an air flow resistance of up to 2000 MKS Rayls according to ASTM C522, and wherein the insulating article displays a UL94-V0 flammability rating.
Elastomeric Laminate
Methods and (articles of manufacture therefrom) including forming an elastic film from a polymer composition; tensioning the elastic film to a stretch ratio of between 2 and 6 in the MD; laminating the elastic film to an extensible facing to provide an elastomeric laminate having a CD hysteresis loss of 70% or less and an MD hysteresis loss of 50% or less.
HYDROCARBON ABSORBENT STRUCTURES
A method of manufacturing a hydrocarbon absorbent structure comprises providing a lower sheet of material and dispensing a hydrocarbon absorbent polymer mixture thereon. The polymer mixture is then preheated so as to at least partially melt the polymer mixture. An upper sheet of material is then provided onto the at least partially melted polymer mixture on the lower sheet of material. The lower sheet of material, polymer mixture and upper sheet of material are then laminated together to form a hydrocarbon absorbent laminate structure.
SHOCK ABSORBING STRUCTURE
An apparatus comprised of a first portion comprising a generally flexible fabric, and a second portion or layer comprising a gel material formed in a generally planar rectangular shape. Positioned below the second layer is a third portion or a damping layer having a series of dampers positioned thereon, where the dampers are elastomeric flexible and compressible. The three portions are laminated together.
Composite PVC-free sheet for a wallcovering with improved application on the wall properties
According to embodiments of the invention a composite sheet for a wallcovering comprises a base layer and a top layer bond to the base layer made of polyolefin compound and further may comprise an additional layer. The base layer, the polyolefin layer and in some embodiments the additional layer are such that it is possible to avoid wet curling of a polyolefin type wallcovering during wet hanging process.
