Flex irrigation basin
A basin with opposing hinged doors for providing a hospital-grade basin which can be used as either a traditional, watertight basin or a modified watertight basin that includes half-moon shaped openings disposed in its side walls to allow a patient's limb to rest comfortably while positioned across the basin. The basin with opposing hinged doors defines a tub member that includes at least one side wall with a semicircle opening extending down into it from the top of the wall. For each opening, a correspondingly shaped door is hingedly attached adjacent thereto, enabling it to move between a closed position defining the traditional, watertight basin and an open position defining a modified watertight basin with an opening for part of a limb. Each opening and door employ a locking means suitable to secure the door in place when desired.
Laundry treatment apparatus
A laundry treatment apparatus including a casing having an upwardly open laundry entrance a door for opening/closing the laundry entrance, and an operation unit for receiving predetermined control instructions to control an operation of the laundry treatment apparatus, in which the operation unit is disposed on a front portion of the door and moves on the top of the casing when the door opens.
Convex-bottom sink with improved self-rinsing capability
A sink basin having a convex hump in the floor of the basin improves self-rinsing by directing water falling into the basin from a faucet to flow clown the hump and across the floor of the basin, then around the perimeter of the basin to the drain orifice. A variety of shapes, materials and surface finishes are also described and claimed.

METHOD OF MAKING AN ENGINEERED COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND PRODUCTS PRODUCED THEREFROM
A method of making an article includes mixing a filler material and a polymer matrix material to produce a composite material, introducing the composite material produced by the mixing into a mold of a desired shape, and removing an article having the desired shape from the mold. The resulting article has a water absorption of less than about one percent and the filler material comprises vitreous china.
Novel light-emitting basin
The present invention is a novel light-emitting basin which includes a body. A surface of the body protrudes or is recessed to form a chamber. The body and/or a chamber wall of the chamber is in an atypical shape or a polyhedron shape. At least part of the chamber wall of the chamber forms a luminous body which is light reflective or light refractive. By using the novel light-emitting basin of the present invention, the surface of the body protrudes or is recessed to form a chamber. Fittings such as electric parts can be disposed in the chamber and thus could not be damaged easily.
Washbasins and Construction Assemblies for the Manufacture of Washbasins
A construction assembly (2) for manufacturing a washbasin (1) includes a base body (3) made of rigid foam. A recess (19) is formed atop the base body (3), a bottom of the recess forming a slope toward a drain opening (15) formed in the recess (19). A drainage device (6) includes a drain (16) configured to be inserted into the drain opening (15). The construction kit (2) includes a projection element (32) configured as a separate component made of rigid foam, the projection element having a width (b33) in the range from about 3 mm to about 25 mm and being configured to be arranged above the drainage device (6) and to be connected to the base body (3) in such a way that a drainage gap (33) is formed between the drain (16) of the drainage device (6) and the underside of the projection element (32).

In one embodiment, the present disclosure is directed to a bathroom mirror lighting system comprising a mirror, a light source, a sensor, and a control circuit operably coupled to the light source and the sensor. The control circuit receives a sensor signal from the sensor indicative of at least one of a user's distance from the sensor, a user's position, a user's posture, a motion of the user towards or away from the sensor, or a task being performed by the user. The control circuit then transmits a control signal to the light source causing the light source to alter its light output based on the sensor signal from the sensor.
SANITARY DEVICE
A sanitary device, including a wash basin or a washstand made of ceramic, porcelain or cast mineral material and a vanity unit which bears the wash basin or the washstand, which wash basin or washstand has a rim protruding laterally from a basin region and having a planar upper face. The vanity unit has an outer shape which circulates in a curved manner over at least 180 at least in the upper region bearing the wash basin or the washstand and which has a first laminate layer or first paint coating forming a first visible surface. The rim of the wash basin or the washstand has a conical rim shape which also circulates in a curved manner over at least 180 and which has a second laminate layer or second paint coating forming a second visible surface, wherein the lower outer edge of the rim and the upper outer edge of the vanity unit are located on the same radius.
