Friction material
A friction material presents a friction generating surface and a bonding surface facing opposite the friction generating surface. The friction material includes an organopolysiloxane resin, a plurality of fibers, and a plurality of friction particles. The organopolysiloxane resin includes siloxy units independently represented by the following formula: (R.sub.1SiO.sub.3/2) and/or (R.sub.2SiO.sub.2/2); wherein each R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is independently selected from a monovalent hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
Low Density Gypsum Panel
The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making a gypsum panel. The gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a facing material. The gypsum core includes gypsum, a foaming agent, and optionally starch in an amount of less than 4 wt. % based on the weight of gypsum. The gypsum core includes air voids having an average void size of 50 microns or more. The gypsum panel has a density of 33 pcf or less, a weight of 1,800 lbs/MSF or less, and an NRC value of 0.2 or more.
FRICTION MATERIAL
A friction material includes a friction-generating layer, a core layer, and a base layer. The friction-generating layer presents a friction-generating surface and includes a friction-generating material. The friction-generating material includes friction-adjusting particles. The core layer is adjacent to the friction-generating layer and includes a core material. The core material includes core fibers. The base layer is adjacent to the core layer such that the core layer is disposed between the friction-generating and base layers. The base layer presents a bonding surface facing opposite the friction-generating surface of the friction-generating layer. The base layer includes a fibrous material. The fibrous material includes base fibers chosen from aramid fibers, carbon fibers, cellulose fibers, acrylic fibers, polyvinyl alcohol fibers, glass fibers, mineral fibers, and combinations thereof. A resin is present in at least one of the friction-generating layer, the core layer, and the base layer.
Aerosol generating articles and methods for manufacturing the same
A sheet-type aerosol generating article includes at least two aerosol generating sheets each having aerosol generating material and an inductively heatable susceptor The inductively heatable susceptor is positioned between the aerosol generating sheets and each of the aerosol generating sheets has an exposed surface. Methods for manufacturing sheet-type aerosol generating articles are also disclosed.

A method for the generation of a gas mixture comprising carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and optionally hydrogen for use in hydroformylation plants or in carbonylation plants, including mixing an optional steam with carbon dioxide in the desired molar ratio, feeding the resulting gas to a solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) or an SOEC stack at a sufficient temperature for the cell or cell stack to operate while effecting a partial conversion of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide and optionally of steam to hydrogen, removing some or all the remaining steam from the raw product gas stream by cooling the raw product gas stream and separating the remaining product gas from a liquid, and using said gas mixture containing CO and CO.sub.2 for liquid phase synthesis reactions utilizing carbon monoxide as one of the reactants while recycling CO.sub.2 to the SOEC or SOEC stack.

The invention relates to composite floorings, more particularly to a soundproof composite flooring of magnesium sulfate and solid wood. The soundproof composite flooring includes a paint layer, a solid wood layer, a magnesium sulfate substrate layer, and a soundproof layer which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom; the solid wood layer and the magnesium sulfate substrate layer are bonded via AB glue by cold pressing or via a hot-melt adhesive; a plurality of cylindrical holes are arranged along edges of an upper surface of the magnesium sulfate substrate layer, and a buffer structure is arranged in each of the cylindrical holes; the buffer structure includes a rubber base which fits a bottom of the cylindrical holes, and a support disk which is opposite to the solid wood layer. The rubber base and the support disk are connected by a rubber column.

The invention relates to a method for producing a bobbin comprising a plurality of wounds of a laminated sheet, the method comprising the steps of: providing a continuous sheet of alkaloids containing material having a free surface; providing a continuous sheet of a first protective material having a free surface; adhering the free surface of the continuous sheet of the first protective material to the free surface of the continuous sheet of alkaloids containing material to form a continuous laminated sheet comprising at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material, wherein said at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and said at least one layer of a first protective material define an adhesion surface between them; feeding said laminated sheet to a rotatable center core; rotating the center core so as to wind said continuous laminated sheet around it in such a way to form said bobbin comprising a plurality of wounds of a continuous laminated sheet comprising at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material.
