RECYCLABLE OR COMPOSTABLE FILM REPLACEMENTS OF PLASTIC ALUMINUM LAMINATE PACKAGING
20200308370 · 2020-10-01 ·

The invention describes the use of magnetic platelet particles as a multifunctional additive to various formulations of polyolefin plastic films usable to fabricate packaging and to provide said packaging with similar barrier properties as aluminium metallizations or other gas barriers, with the added benefit of allowing separation and recovery of the packaging by magnetic means. Such novel additives, films and packaging are environmentally friendly and food-safe, so that after use they can be either recovered for reuse, composted, or dumped in the environment to biodegrade. The invention comprises various types of films comprising the additive and methods to improve the properties of said films.

Decorative material, laminate, and method for manufacturing decorative material

A decorative material having a design with an excellent tactile and a visual effect. The decorative material has a texture region on a base material, the texture region is composed of: a plurality of projection regions containing a plurality of particles with a particle size of 5 ?m or more and 60 ?m or less and independent of each other; and a gap region between the projection regions, and the average diameter of the circumscribed circles of the projection regions, when the texture region is viewed in plan view, is 100 ?m or more and 500 ?m or less.

MULTILAYER TUBE

Provided is a multilayer tube with excellent strength, heat resistance, and the like, further exhibiting excellent interlayer adhesion without an adhesive, as well as good interlayer adhesion after annealing. The multilayer tube has a tubular inner layer and an outer layer formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof. The inner layer is a maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene resin layer which contains organic particles having an average particle size of 0.1-10 ?m. The outer layer is a polyamide resin layer with an amine value of 15-100 mmol/kg. The multilayer tube includes numerous convex protrusions caused by the organic particles on a side of the inner layer at an interface between the inner layer and the outer layer.

Fixing belt and heat fixing device

A fixing belt including a base layer, an elastic layer and a surface layer, wherein the elastic layer has a total thickness of 200 to 3,000 ?m, has a thermal conductivity of 0.4 W/(m.Math.K) or more in a total thickness direction thereof, and contains fillers in a content of 40 to 60 vol % with respect to the total volume of the elastic layer. The fillers in a region A of the elastic layer have a practical sphericity SA of 0.75 or more, and a content ratio of the fillers in the region A is 60 vol % or less with respect to the region A. The fillers in a region B have a practical sphericity SB of less than 0.75, and a content ratio of the fillers in the region B is 40 vol % or more with respect to the region B.
