A lining plate having an outer decorative layer, a support layer having at least magnesium oxide or magnesium oxide with perlite and/or vermiculite and/or cellulose, a barrier membrane to reduce or avoid water and moisture intrusion, and a self-adhesive foam material layer with an adhesive surface to be placed on a surface to be lined, the layer being provided with a plurality of perforations. The support layer has a non-homogeneous density in its thickness, distinguishing a first thickness, following the decorative layer, and a second thickness, between the first thickness and the barrier membrane, in which the density in the first thickness is greater than the density in the second thickness. The support layer is provided with a reinforcing structure formed by meshes or by a fabric of a composite material located within the second thickness of the support layer.

Double-Sided Adhesive Tape Having Improved Impact Strength for Display Device

The present disclosure relates generally to a double-sided adhesive tape having improved impact strength for a display device. More particularly, the double-sided adhesive tape includes a base layer, a foam adhesive layer formed on one surface of the base layer and made of acrylic foam, and an adhesive layer formed on the other surface of the base layer. The double-sided adhesive tape having improved impact strength for the display device having the above structure in which the foam adhesive layer having excellent impact strength is formed, thereby suppressing occurrence of cracking on a glass surface of the display device due to external impacts and exhibiting an excellent waterproofing effect.

Provided is an assembly including a first polymeric layer of a first pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) composition and a second polymeric foam layer of a second PSA composition. The first PSA composition contains at least 60 parts by weight of (meth)acrylate copolymer containing C1-C32 (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units; 0.1-15 parts by weight of C2-C8 hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units, based on 100 parts by weight of the total monomers of the (meth)acrylate copolymer; and up to 40 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylate copolymer having a weight average molecular weight above 20,000 Daltons and including (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units. The second PSA composition contains a first (meth)acrylate copolymer having 0.1-12 wt % of (meth)acrylic acid monomer units, based on the weight of the first (meth)acrylate copolymer; and a second (meth)acrylate copolymer having 15-40 wt % of (meth)acrylic acid monomer units, based on the weight of the second (meth)acrylate copolymer.

Foam as adhesive for composites for thermal insulation

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a composite for thermal insulation comprising at least layers (L1), (L2) and (LB), the process comprising the steps of providing layer (L1) containing from 25 to 95% by weight of aerogel and from 5 to 75% by weight of fibers and from 0 to 70% by weight of fillers and layer (L2) containing from 25 to 95% by weight of aerogel and from 5 to 75% by weight of fibers and from 0 to 70% by weight of fillers; applying a composition (C1) comprising an inorganic binder on one surface of the layer (L1) or layer (L2) or layer (L1) and (L2), and combining layer (L1) and layer (L2) in a manner that composition (C1) is located between layer (L1) and (L2), wherein composition (C1) is applied in the form of a, as well as a composite for thermal insulation comprising at least layers (L1), (L2) and layer (LB) which is located between layers (L1) and (L2) and the use of said composite for thermal insulation.

ANTI-ICING STACK

Anti-icing stacks for protecting an aerodynamic surface are described. In some embodiments, an anti-icing stack includes an anti-icing layer, an elastomeric erosion protection layer, and an additional layer. The erosion protection layer is disposed between the anti-icing layer and the additional layer. The additional layer has a thickness greater than the thickness of the erosion protection layer and a tensile modulus of no more than the tensile modulus of the erosion protection layer. The additional layer may be a foam adhesive layer.

A sealing for arrangement between a wall and a wall covering includes a sealing sheet and an adhesive tape. The sealing sheet and the adhesive tape each have a carrier layer of a preferably closed-cell foam plastic. Furthermore, the sealing sheet can bear a nonwoven fabric preferably on the wall-facing side, wherein border strips remain free of the nonwoven fabric for underlapping with an adhesive tape.

CURATIVE

A curative for epoxidized plant-based oils and epoxidized natural rubber is created from the reaction between a naturally occurring polyfunctional acid and an epoxidized plant-based oil is disclosed. The curative may be used to produce porosity-free castable resins and vulcanize rubber formulations based on epoxidized natural rubber. Materials made from disclosed materials may be advantageously used as leather substitutes.
