LINER FILM
The invention relates to gusseted plastic film with a thickness of 50 to 200 microns, comprising a polyolefin homopolymer or copolymer, a polyether copolymer and a layer comprising oxygen barrier polymer.
HIGH LEVEL WASTE TRANSPORT SYSTEM WITH CONTAINMENT FEATURE
Reusable transporters for removable housing of radioactive materials and configured for safely containing the radioactive materials during transportation operations of the transporters are described. A given transporter may have at least four layers, an outermost structural-jacket, an innermost liner, a containment layer, and a radiation shielding layer. The structural-jacket is made from strong materials like steel and/or titanium, but not stainless steel. The containment layer and/or the radiation shielding layer may have one or more sub-layers. The containment layer is stretchable and designed to completely enclose the internally stored radioactive materials even in the event of a serious impact event to the overall transporter. The radioactive materials are removably stored within an inner cavity of the transporter, within the liner. The inner cavity may be accessible from at least one terminal end of the transporter. The at least one terminal end is removably closeable via use of closure means.
Structured surface with adhesion switchable in stages
A structured surface has at least two types of projections which differ from one another at least in terms of their vertical height. As a result, the adhesion of the structured surface can be switched between at least three different states.
MULTILAYER TUBING FOR CHEMICAL TRANSFER APPLICATIONS
Systems and methods are disclosed that include providing a multilayer tubing construction with an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and an outer or third layer formed from a material comprising a non-phthalate plasticizer, such as TOTM, DOA, DOTP, or combinations thereof. The multilayer tubing may be suitable for carrying a fuel, or other flammable substances therethrough, and resists delamination between layers when exposed to high humidity climates.
LINER FILM
The invention relates to gusseted plastic film with a thickness of 50 to 200 microns, comprising a polyolefin homopolymer or copolymer, a polyether copolymer and a layer comprising oxygen barrier polymer.
Quasi-isotropic reinforced sheet material and production method thereof
A quasi-isotropic reinforced sheet material T formed by integrating a plurality of chopped semi prepreg sheet materials C including a reinforced fiber material and a thermoplastic resin material set in an unimpregnated state such that fiber directions of the reinforced fiber materials are oriented randomly in the two-dimensional direction. The average number of fibers in a thickness direction for materials C ranges is from two to ten and a thickness “t”, relative to the thickness (t.sub.p) in an impregnated state, is in a range of t.sub.p<t≤2×t.sub.p. A layered body M is obtained by bonding and integrating the materials C in a state where fiber directions of the reinforced fiber materials are oriented randomly in a two-dimensional direction and the materials C overlap such that the average number of the materials C in the thickness direction is set in a range from two to ten.
LAMINATED FOAM SHEET
The present invention provides a laminated expanded sheet excellent in strength and formability. More specifically, the present invention relates to a laminated expanded sheet comprising a laminate of a resin expanded layer and a resin non-expanded layer, wherein the resin expanded layer is provided as an outermost layer, the laminated expanded sheet has a bending strength of 5 MPa or more, and an arithmetic average roughness of a surface formed of the resin expanded layer is 3 μm or more and 10 μm or less.
Valve component, frame component and prosthetic valve device including the same for implantation in a body lumen
Described herein is a prosthetic valve device having an optimized valve component for durability and functionality of the collapsible leaflets. Specially designed commissures contribute to the optimization along with identified parameters. In other embodiments, the invention is a frame formed from a unique cutting pattern.
METHOD OF LINING A PIPELINE WITH A DELAYED CURING RESIN COMPOSITION
A resin composition and method for installing a pipe liner that allows the liner to be fully wet out with a resin and activator and stored for a period of up to six months prior to installation and curing. A method of lining a pipe with a delayed curing resin composition is also provided that includes fully wetting out a liner with a blended two part epoxy composition such that the liner can be transported in a wet out fashion, placed in a pipe to be lined and repositioned as needed without concern for the resin composition to begin curing.
Laminated body including resin body and gel body and method for producing same
Provided is a laminated body that has high adhesiveness between a resin body containing a fluorine-based resin and a silicone gel and that can be attached to and detached from an adherend for use. A laminated body comprising: a resin body; and a gel body, wherein the resin body comprises a fluorine-based resin, and the gel body comprises a silicone gel and lipophilic silica particles.
