RESIN ARTICLE HAVING EXCELLENT DISCOLORATION RESISTANCE
An article represented by a container that is formed of a thermoplastic resin blended with a metal or a metal compound that can react with a corrosive gas or a volatile sulfur compound and give a color. The thermoplastic resin includes at least one metal selected from three metals of Zn, Sn and Mn or one metal compound thereof, and a metal or a metal compound that is not any of these three metals and that can react with the corrosive gas or the volatile sulfur compound and give a color. The metal selected from the three metals or the metal compound functions as a scavenger for the corrosive gas or the volatile sulfur compound.
STAIN-RESISTANT FILM
Protective films, uses thereof, and ways of making such films are provided, where the protective films provide improved stain resistance in protecting a painted surface. Such protective films can include a first layer and a second layer. The first layer can include a polyurethane acrylate and a silicone modified additive, where the first layer has a first face and a second face, and the first face has a first coating including silicone. The second layer can include a thermoplastic polyurethane that can be based on polycaprolactone, where the second layer has a first face and a second face, the first face of the second layer contacts the second face of the first layer, and the second face has a second coating that includes a pressure sensitive adhesive.
Indicating device
The invention relates to devices for indicating the history of products, e.g., with regard to the temperature progression. The device according to the invention comprises a covering layer, an indicator layer, an activator layer, and an optional delaying layer. By means of heating, moisture is released, which, in the case of some embodiments, migrates first into the delaying layer and then into the activator layer. There, an activator is mobilized and migrates together with the moisture into the indicator layer. By interaction of the indicator with the activator in the presence of moisture, a color conversion occurs, which indicates the exceedance of the critical temperature. The invention further relates to methods for producing the device according to the invention and to applications of the device according to the invention, e.g., in the temperature monitoring of sensitive products.

The curved film from top to bottom includes in sequence a curved glass layer, a thermoplastic urethane (TPU) layer, an explosion-proof film and an adhesive layer. The technical scheme provided by the present disclosure has benefits of shock proofing and low cost.
FORMULATIONS FOR USE IN GREENHOUSE FILMS WITH HIGH TRANSPARENCY
A masterbatch formulation comprising from 40 to 82.5 wt. % of a polyolefin resin; from 0.5 to 10 wt. % of a hydrophilic fumed silica, wherein the hydrophilic fumed silica has a specific surface area of 30 m.sup.2/g to 750 m.sup.2/g; and greater than or equal to 17 wt. % of an anti-dripping agent.
BREATHABLE FABRICS WITH SMART PORES
Described are moisture responsive materials. The materials may have tunable moisture permeability. A material may be a substrate that includes apertures. The apertures are configured to open or close depending on the humidity environment to which the substrate is exposed. The apertures have at least two regions of polymer gel, which may have different amounts of crosslinking. The apertures may be formed from at least two polymer gels having at least two different crosslinker loadings. The materials may be used in articles of manufacture. For example, the materials are used in wearable articles, outdoor articles, medical articles, packaging articles, building articles, filtration/separation articles, and the like.
