Paint, ink, or attachments may be applied to the bondable first layer. A method of producing the laminate product includes the steps of laminating a base layer and a bondable first layer by application of pressure and heat to the base layer and the first layer. Paint, ink, or attachments may then be applied to the bondable first layer.

A temporary adhesive material for wafer processing temporarily bonds a support to a wafer having a circuit-forming front and back surface for processing, including a composite temporary adhesive material layer having at least a two-layer structure of first and second temporary adhesive layers, the first layer including a thermoplastic resin layer that is releasably adhered to the wafer's front surface; and the second layer including a photo-curing siloxane polymer layer laminated on the first layer. A wafer processing laminate, a temporary adhesive material for wafer processing, and a method for manufacturing a thin wafer using the same, which suppress wafer warpage at the time of heat-bonding, have excellent delaminatability and cleaning removability, allow layer formation with uniform film thickness on a heavily stepped substrate, are highly compatible with steps of forming TSV, etc., have excellent thermal process resistance, and are capable of increasing productivity of thin wafers.

The polymer mixture is then preheated so as to at least partially melt the polymer mixture. An upper sheet of material is then provided onto the at least partially melted polymer mixture on the lower sheet of material. The lower sheet of material, polymer mixture and upper sheet of material are then laminated together to form a hydrocarbon absorbent laminate structure.

The first clamp part and the second clamp part are configured to cooperate with one another to clamp the portion of a blade between them in a clamping operation and to hold the secondary component against the blade when the secondary component is received within the recess.

A vacuum pump is connected to the plurality of suction hole portions to apply negative pressure to the plurality of suction hole portions. A controller controls the vacuum pump to adjust the negative pressure applied to the plurality of suction hole portions.

An assembly for forming a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a layup tool including a main body extending along a longitudinal axis and a flange extending radially from the main body, the flange defining an edge face slopes towards the main body to an axial face. At least one compression tool has a tool body having a first tool section and a second tool section extending transversely from the first tool section. The first tool section is translatable along a retention member in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the edge face such that relative movement causes the second tool section to apply a first compressive force on a composite article trapped between the axial face of the flange and the second tool section. A method of forming a gas turbine engine component is also disclosed.
