A method and system for creating a continuous stream of elements of garments. With a multi-line fusing press: simultaneously and continuously, for each line of a plurality of lines, each line having a corresponding blower, a corresponding guide, and a corresponding feeder: passing a first substrate under the corresponding blower for the line and into the corresponding guide for the line; feeding, using the corresponding feeder for the line, a continuous fusible substrate into the corresponding guide for the line to position the fusible substrate above the first substrate; feeding, via the corresponding guide for the line and into the multi-line fusing press, a combination of the fusible substrate and the first substrate, the fusible substrate positioned above the first substrate; and the multi-line fusing press pressing the combination of the fusible substrate positioned above the continuous first substrate. The first substrate may be compacted by a multi-line compactor.

A method for producing pant-type articles having a waist-encircling portion and leg-encircling portions. The method includes forming a chassis structure and at least one elastic panel being formed by providing a first web, which is an elastic web including at least one layer of an elastic material. The first web is stretched at least 70% in at least one direction. The stretched first web is bonded while the first web is held in the stretched state to a second web. The second web includes at least one layer of an elastic or non-elastic material, and the bonded first and second webs form an elastic composite web. The elastic composite is relaxed in the at least one direction by at least 4% of the stretched length of the stretched first web. The chassis structure is assembled from chassis components including the stretched and relaxed composite web.

Lamination device

A lamination device that laminates a laminate material on a front surface of a substrate includes a transport unit that transports the substrate in a transport direction, and first and second pressurizing units that pressurize the laminate material disposed on the front surface of the substrate. The second pressurizing unit is movable in the transport direction at a velocity higher than a transportation velocity of the substrate. When the laminate material is laminated on the substrate transported, the first pressurizing unit laminates the laminate material on the substrate from a central portion between an upstream end of the substrate in the transport direction and a downstream end of the substrate in the transport direction toward the upstream side of the transport direction, and the second pressurizing unit laminates the laminate material on the substrate from the central portion of the substrate toward the downstream side of the transport direction.

The present invention is directed to a floor panel that is processed on roll equipment, whereby a decorative design consisting of elongated striations is printed with the elongated striations oriented in an across-machine direction. The decorative design is printed on a print layer and is subsequently laminated to a substrate layer. The laminated flooring material is then cut such that the elongate sides of the panels are cut in the across machine direction. This results in a floor panel with greater dimensional stability on the elongate side.
