GRAPHITE-SILICON COMPOSITE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A graphite-silicon composite, including: graphite; silicon; and an intermediate layer that is located between the graphite and the silicon, wherein the intermediate layer includes oxygen, carbon and silicon. Furthermore, provided is a method for producing a graphite-silicon composite, including: layering graphite and silicon; and heating the layered graphite and silicon while applying pressure to them, wherein, during heating the layered graphite and silicon while applying pressure to them, an oxygen concentration in the atmosphere is adjusted to 0.2 vol %, the applied pressure is adjusted to 24.5 MPa or higher, and the heating temperature is adjusted to 1260 C. or higher.
Substrate bonding apparatus, substrate holding apparatus, substrate bonding method, substrate holding method, multilayered semiconductor device, and multilayered substrate
Substrates are aligned and then bonded to each other. A substrate bonding apparatus includes a deformer that deforms at least a first one of two substrates that are to be bonded to each other in order to correct misalignment between the two substrates, a holder that holds the deformed first substrate in the deformed state achieved by the deformer, a transporter that transports the holder from a position at which the deformed first substrate is held by the holder while the first substrate remains deformed, and a bonder that bonds the first substrate that has been transported by the transporter to the second substrate. In the above-described substrate bonding apparatus, while the first substrate is not held by the holder, the deformer may deform the holder from a first state to a second state that is more deformed than the first state, and while the first substrate is held by the holder, the deformer may reduce the amount of the deformation of the holder to less than the amount of the deformation of the second state to deform the first substrate.
LAYERED ARTICLE INCLUDING SYNTHETIC POLYMER FILM HAVING ANTIMICROBIAL AND/OR ANTIVIRAL PROPERTIES, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A method for producing a layered article including a synthetic polymer film having antimicrobial and/or antiviral properties includes: preparing a layered article including a substrate and a synthetic polymer film formed on the substrate, wherein the synthetic polymer film has, on a surface thereof, a plurality of protrusions having area equivalent circle diameters in a range of more than 20 nm to less than 500 nm when the surface is viewed in a direction normal to the synthetic polymer film; and irradiating the plurality of protrusions in the layered article with light emitted from a xenon lamp such that the amount of irradiation with light in a wavelength range of 300 nm or more to 400 nm or less is 6 MJ/m.sup.2 or more.
Method of manufacturing semiconductor device
A bonding method for bonding a first substrate to a second substrate includes fixing the first substrate to a first surface of a first bonding chuck and fixing the second substrate to a second surface of a second bonding chuck, the second surface facing the first surface; aligning the second bonding chuck above the first bonding chuck in a vertical direction or in a horizontal direction; bonding the first substrate to the second substrate to make a bonded substrate; and wherein, in the bonding the first substrate to the second substrate, injecting a process gas between the first substrate and the second substrate using a process gas injector surrounding at least one selected from the first bonding chuck and the second bonding chuck in a plan view and injecting an air curtain forming gas to form an air curtain surrounding the first substrate and the second substrate using an air curtain generator are performed in combination.
