Automatic start/stop controls for agricultural load and transfer equipment
A scale controller system and method of using the system is disclosed. The scale controller is adapted for use with a grain cart or similar implement that includes a discharge opening and conveyor. The system includes a scale and a plurality of sensors that work together to automate numerous functions that are typically performed manually. For example, the present invention discloses a system that automatically records the amount of material loaded or unloaded by continuously monitoring the load on a scale and the RPMs of a power take-off shaft that drives a conveyor.

Vehicle for discharging crop and corresponding use
A vehicle to discharge root crop to define a root crop heap, includes a drive device to drive the vehicle, a crop bunker to contain the crop to be discharged, a discharge device to discharge the root crop from the crop bunker. The vehicle further includes a control device to control the discharge device to create the root crop heap with defined heap parameters, where the heap parameters include one or more of: a defined heap location, a defined heap width, and a defined heap orientation, and the heap is the root crop heap on a ground of a field.

Telescoping rotatable tool
A telescoping rotatable tool includes a first shaft and a second shaft. The first shaft has a first material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft has a second material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the second shaft. The second shaft is configured to extend from and retract within an interior space presented by the first shaft. The first shaft includes at least one helical-shaped groove extending along an interior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft includes at least one guide element extending from the exterior surface of the second shaft. The guide element is configured to engage with the groove, such that as the second shaft extends from and retracts within the first shaft, the second shaft is configured to rotate with respect to the first shaft.
AUTOMATIC MACHINE GUIDANCE INITIATION FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINE DURING UNLOADING
A mobile agricultural machine includes a steering system configured to steer the mobile agricultural machine. At least one distance sensor is mounted on the mobile agricultural machine and is configured to provide a distance sensor signal indicative of a distance from the mobile agricultural machine to a surface of a remote object. A controller is operably coupled to the steering system and the at least one distance sensor. The controller is configured to receive an operator input enabling object detection and responsively monitor the distance sensor signal of the at least one distance sensor to detect a linear object surface and to responsively generate a steering output to the steering system to maintain a prescribed lateral distance from the detected linear object surface.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRUCK TRANSITIONS DURING HARVESTING
A method of transitioning a first truck and a second truck during harvesting using a harvesting system. The harvesting system includes a vehicle and a harvester and the harvester includes a plow, an elevator, a table, and a boom. The vehicle includes a power take off. The method includes turning on, by the operator, at least one of the table and the boom. The method also includes selecting, by the operator, an operating speed of the boom. The method further includes turning off, by the operator, at least one of the table and the boom. The method also includes depositing potatoes in the first truck.
