LAMINATE SHEET
An object is to provide a coloring technique that makes it possible to impart luster while providing a vivid color, and further to provide a coloring technique that makes it possible to retain more unevenness when a substrate has unevenness. This object is achieved by a laminated sheet comprising a fiber substrate and a metalloid element-containing layer disposed on or above the surface of the fiber substrate.
CLADDED AMORPHOUS METAL PRODUCTS
An embodiment relates to a cladded composite comprising a cladding layer of a bulk metallic glass and a substrate; wherein the bulk metallic glass comprises approximately 0% crystallinity, approximately 0% porosity, less than 50 MPa thermal stress, approximately 0% distortion, approximately 0 inch heat affected zone, approximately 0% dilution, and a strength of about 2,000-3,500 MPa.
METAL COMPOSITE WIRE
The present invention discloses a metal composite wire capable of increasing a tightness degree of copper-aluminum bonding. The metal composite wire includes a metal core rod. Continuous spiral grooves are formed in a surface of the core rod The core rod is cladded with a metal cladding layer with higher electrical conductivity than the core rod. An average depth of the continuous spiral grooves 1/10 of a thickness of the metal cladding layer. By setting the thickness of the metal cladding layer as t.sub.1, a specific gravity of the metal cladding layer as.sub.1, a diameter of the core rod as R, the average depth of the continuous spiral grooves as h, and a specific gravity of the core rod as .sub.2,
The metal composite wire of the present invention can be widely applied to cable conductors and cable shielding braiding layers.
IMPROVED BAT
A bat includes a handle configured to be held by a user having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the first end includes a knob having a larger diameter than the handle. The bat further includes a barrel extending from the second end of a handle, the barrel configured to strike a ball during play. The barrel includes a first layer primarily composed of a single wall aluminum, a double wall aluminum, a single wall titanium, a double wall titanium, a single wall composite, or a multi wall composite. A second layer is connected to the first layer and configured to support the first layer to prevent the first layer from fatiguing, permanent damage, or exceeding applicable rules limiting the hotness of the bat.
Holey graphene mesh and solvent-free manufacturing and composites thereof
Systems, methods, and devices of the various embodiments provide for the creation of holey graphene meshes (HGMs) and composite articles including HGMs. Various embodiments provide solvent-free methods for creating arrays of holes on holey graphene-based articles formed from dry compression (such as films, discs, pellets), thereby resulting in a HGM. In further embodiments, a HGM can used as part of a composite, such as by: 1) embedding a HGM into another matrix material such as carbon, polymer, metals, metal oxides, etc; and/or (2) the HGM serving as a matrix by filling the holes of the HGM or functionalizing the HGM body with another one or more materials. In various embodiments, HGM can also be made as a composite itself by creating holes on dry-compressed articles pre-embedded with one or more other materials.
RESIN-COATED METAL SHEET FOR CONTAINER
A resin-coated metal sheet for a container includes: a metal sheet; a first resin coating layer provided on an inner face of the metal sheet after forming; and a second resin coating layer provided on an outer face of the metal sheet after forming, the second resin coating layer containing: polyester resin having a melting point of 230 C. to 254 C. as a main component; and a lubricant component, a melting point of the lubricant component being 80 C. to 230 C., an average particle diameter of the lubricant component present on a surface of the second resin coating layer being 17.0 nm or less.
ULTRASONIC ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING OF CLADDED AMORPHOUS METAL PRODUCTS
An embodiment relates to an ultrasonic additive manufacturing process, comprising joining a foil comprising a bulk metallic glass to a substrate; and forming a cladded composite comprising the foil and the substrate; wherein a thickness of the cladded composite is greater than a critical casting thickness of the bulk metallic glass, wherein the cladded composite comprises a cladding layer of the bulk metallic glass on the substrate and the bulk metallic glass comprises approximately 0% crystallinity, approximately 0% porosity, less than 50 MPa thermal stress, approximately 0% distortion, approximately 0 inch heat affected zone, approximately 0% dilution, and a strength of about 2,000-3,500 MPa.
TRANSPARENT SUBSTRATE WITH LAMINATED FILM
A transparent substrate with a laminated film, which comprises a transparent substrate and a laminated film formed on at least one surface of the transparent substrate, wherein the laminated film has a first dielectric layer, a crystallinity-improving layer, a functional layer and a second dielectric layer in this order from the transparent substrate side, the crystallinity-improving layer contains ZrN.sub.x (wherein x is higher than 1.2 and at most 2.0), the functional layer contains at least one metal nitride selected from the group consisting of titanium nitride, chromium nitride, niobium nitride, molybdenum nitride and hafnium nitride, and the concentration of oxygen atoms at a boundary between the crystallinity-improving layer and the functional layer, is at most 20 atom %.
RAIL FOR THE FASTENING OF EQUIPMENT ELEMENTS IN AIRCRAFT, IN PARTICULAR SEATS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION
A rail for the fastening of equipment elements, such as, in particular, seats, in aircraft, includes a holding region for connection to an equipment element of an aircraft, and a support region to fasten the rail to a carrier element of the aircraft. The rail has a metallic shell which is, for example, made of titanium and which is filled with a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic filler material which is reinforced by short fibers. To produce the rail, a metallic molded part is used as a casting mold and is filled, for example by injection, with the filler material and, after the rail has been produced, forms the metallic shell for the filler material.
