Water-based adhesive consisting of dispersed polymer and emulsified silicone resin polymer
A water-based adhesive which comprises a dispersed polymer and an emulsified silicone resin polymer. The adhesive is postcrosslinkable via reactive groups.
ANHYDROUSLY CURING POLYISOCYANATE-BASED ADHESIVES
The present invention relates to adhesives which are characterized in that they cure in the absence of water and at room temperature with the formation of isocyanurate groups.
METHOD FOR JOINING QUARTZ PIECES AND QUARTZ ELECTRODES AND OTHER DEVICES OF JOINED QUARTZ
A method for joining quartz pieces using metallic aluminum as the joining element. The aluminum may be placed between two quartz pieces and the assembly may be heated in the range of 500 C to 650 C. The joining atmosphere may be non-oxygenated. A method for the joining of quartz pieces which may include barrier layers on the quartz pieces. The barrier layers may be impervious to aluminum diffusion and may be of a metal oxide or metal nitride. The quartz pieces with the barrier layers may then be joined at temperatures higher than 650 C and less than 1200 C. A device such as an RF antenna or electrode in support of semiconductor processing using joined quartz pieces wherein the aluminum joining layer which has joined the pieces and also functions as antenna electrode.
Intermediate transfer member
An intermediate transfer member (ITM) for use with a printing system, the ITM having (a) a support layer; and (b) a release layer having an ink reception surface and a second surface opposing the ink reception surface, the second surface attached to the support layer, the release layer formed of an addition-cured, hydrophobic silicone material, wherein the release surface of the release layer has relatively hydrophilic properties with respect to the addition-cured, hydrophobic silicone material.
ADHESIVE, LAMINATE, AND PACKAGING MATERIAL
Provided are a laminating adhesive, a laminate, and a packaging material which are excellent in retorting resistance and content resistance. The adhesive includes a polyol composition (A) including a polyester polyol (A1), and a polyisocyanate composition (B) including a polyisocyanate compound (B1), in which the polyester polyol (A1) is a reaction product of a composition including a polycarboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol, the polycarboxylic acid including a tetramer acid. The laminate and the packaging material are produced using the adhesive.
Homogenizing heterogeneous foils for light alloy metal parts
A method for the manufacturing of an object. The method includes receiving a desired alloy composition for the object, depositing a plurality of foils in a stack to form the object, applying heat to the stack at a first temperature to bond the plurality of foils to each other, and applying heat to the stack at a second temperature to homogenize the composition of the stack. The homogenized stack has the desired alloy composition.

A display device includes a display panel; a supporter disposed on a surface of the display panel; and an adhesive layer disposed between the supporter and the display panel, wherein the supporter includes metal layers spaced apart from each other; and a cushion layer surrounding the metal layers, the adhesive layer includes a first area overlapping the metal layers in a vertical direction to the display panel; and a second area not overlapping the metal layers in the vertical direction to the display panel, and a modulus of the second area of the adhesive layer is larger than a modulus of the first area of the adhesive layer.
Layered polyester film
To provide a layered polyester film having excellent mechanical properties, transparency, heat resistance, and in particular excellent gas barrier property. A layered polyester film containing a polyester film and a thin film layer including mainly an inorganic compound, wherein the polyester film is a biaxially oriented polyester film including a dicarboxylic acid component containing mainly a furandicarboxylic acid and a glycol component containing mainly ethylene glycol, the thin film layer is formed on at least one surface of the polyester film, the inorganic compound is at least one of aluminum oxide and silicon oxide, and the layered polyester film has a plane orientation coefficient ΔP of not less than 0.100 and not more than 0.200, a film thickness of not thinner than 1 μm and not thicker than 300 μm, and an oxygen permeability of not less than 0.1 mL/m.sup.2/day/MPa and not more than 80 mL/m.sup.2/day/MPa under a temperature of 23° C. and a humidity of 65%.

Modular Construction Fire Stop Assembly
An improved fire barrier assembly is disclosed for use between two structures, either in a compressive mode or a combination compression/shear mode. The assembly includes at least a single foam core, or two foam cores separated by a gap. At least one foam core includes an intumescent layer. An outer wrap of a fire-resistant fabric surrounds the foam core. The assembly is fastened to one surface of one structure.
