FABRIC CONTAINING UNIDIRECTIONAL REINFORCEMENT FIBRE
A fabric and a method for making the same. The fabric includes a layer of unidirectionally oriented carbon fibre filaments sandwiched between a first layer of glass fibre rovings and a second layer of glass fibre rovings. The first layer of glass fibre rovings and the second layer of glass fibre rovings are linked by a connecting material.
FILM LAMINATOR FOR CELL PHONES
According to the utility model, there is provided a film laminator for cell phones, useful for film lamination on a surface of a cell phone, including: a cell phone fixing plate, on which a through hole for receiving the cell phone is established, and a top surface of which is a horizontal face; with at least one position limiting plate for abutting the cell phone within the through hole being also fixed on the top surface. The film laminator for cell phones further includes: a film laminating plate for fixing a cell phone film; one end of which is hinged to the cell phone fixing plate, and the other end of which is movable freely so that the film laminating plate is bonded with the top surface of the cell phone fixing plate. With respect to the film laminator for cell phones according to the utility model, because the position limiting plate is provided on the cell phone fixing plate, the surface of the cell phone to which a film is to be attached can handily be kept in flush with the top surface of the cell phone fixing plate. Upon film lamination, the film laminating plate can contact with the top surface of the cell phone fixing plate and the surface of the cell phone to which a film is to be attached at the same time, so that the stress that is laid on it in the course of film lamination is very even, and a good effect of film lamination is obtained.
LAMINATE WITH LOW-E COATING ON THIN CHEMICALLY STRENGTHENED GLASS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
An automotive laminated glazing is provided, comprising an outer glass layer and an inner glass layer, said outer glass layer having a first surface and a second surface and said inner glass layer having a third surface and a fourth surface, wherein the inner glass layer has a thickness of not more than 1.0 mm and is chemically strengthened, and wherein the fourth surface features a low-e coating, obtainable by chemically strengthening a flat glass pane having a thickness of not more than 1.0 mm, then applying the low-e coating, and finally laminating the flat glass pane to a curved glass pane forming the outer layer, thereby cold bending said flat glass pane.
Water barrier exterior sheathing panel
An exterior sheathing cementitious panel which prevents water penetration and air leakage is provided. Methods for manufacturing exterior sheathing cementitious panels with a highly efficient integrated air/water barrier sheet are also provided. An exterior sheathing system employing the exterior sheathing cementitious panel is provided.
WINDOW PANE AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION
The present invention relates to a window pane and to a corresponding production method. The window pane (1) for a motor vehicle of the invention has a first pane and a second pane arranged parallel to the first pane, at least one intermediate adhesive layer (4) arranged between the first and second panes for forming a laminate therewith, wherein the intermediate adhesive layer (4) comprises at least one layer opening (7) or recess which is surrounded by an inside opening wall (4.1) of the intermediate adhesive layer (4), and a reinforcing adhesive material (8) provided in the layer opening (7) of the intermediate adhesive layer (4) which shows a higher strength or hardness than the intermediate adhesive layer wherein the reinforcing adhesive material is coplanar to the intermediate adhesive layer.
FLOW CELL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for flow cells are provided. Flow cells may encompass a range of fluidic devices for various applications ranging from microfluidic systems to bulk phase flow systems. Flow cells may comprise one or more components for passive or active fluid transfer. Descriptions are provided for advantageous methods of fabricating flow cells for particular applications such as biological assays. Provided is a composition, comprising a first substrate comprising a first covalently-bound ligand; and a second substrate comprising a second covalently-bound ligand; wherein the first covalently-bound ligand and the second covalently-bound ligand are covalently bonded to form a heterocyclic compound. Also provided is a flow cell device, comprising: a first substrate comprising a microfabricated surface; and a second substrate comprising a non-patterned surface; wherein the first substrate is joined to the second substrate to form an enclosure; and wherein the microfabricated surface comprises at least one chamber, wherein the chamber comprises a microarray of active sites with specific functionalization separated by an optically resolvable distance and a functionalized surface comprising a passivating group or a blocking group; and wherein each active site of the microarray of active sites comprises a capture agent.
Aligning and laminating method for the production of thin laminated glass from glass panes which do not fit together accurately
