GARMENT FABRIC AND GARMENT FABRIC MANUFACTURING METHOD

A garment fabric S includes a multilayer structure including a first layer L1 having breathability and a second layer L2 formed by mixing a treatment agent with a defibrated fiber.

COMPOSITE PACKAGING MATERIAL
20250001744 · 2025-01-02 ·

A composite material for packaging applications. The composite material comprises lignin, a biodegradable thermoplastic polymer and a fibrous material and may provide a sustainable and readily biodegradable material to be used to form packaging with an improved environmental profile compared to known plastic packaging, without compromising on the performance of said packaging. A method of forming such a composite material and a use of a polymer blend comprising lignin and a biodegradable thermoplastic polymer to form a composite material with a fibrous material are also disclosed.

Functionalized Textile Compositions and Artilces
20250033322 · 2025-01-30 ·

Functionalized textile materials are provided. At least a portion of a textile surface in includes a ceramic material, such as a binderless porous structured ceramic, and optionally, one or more functional layer is applied, resulting in a textile material with one or more desirable functional properties, such as hydrophilicity, hydrophobicity, flame retardancy, photocatalysis, anti-fouling, and/or deodorant properties.

MULTI-FEED SYSTEM
20170253016 · 2017-09-07 ·

A method and system for creating a continuous stream of elements of garments. With a multi-line fusing press: simultaneously and continuously, for each line of a plurality of lines, each line having a corresponding blower, a corresponding guide, and a corresponding feeder: passing a first substrate under the corresponding blower for the line and into the corresponding guide for the line; feeding, using the corresponding feeder for the line, a continuous fusible substrate into the corresponding guide for the line to position the fusible substrate above the first substrate; feeding, via the corresponding guide for the line and into the multi-line fusing press, a combination of the fusible substrate and the first substrate, the fusible substrate positioned above the first substrate; and the multi-line fusing press pressing the combination of the fusible substrate positioned above the continuous first substrate. The first substrate may be compacted by a multi-line compactor.

FLEXIBLE CELLULOSIC FIBER-BASED HONEYCOMB MATERIAL

A flexible packaging material including: a core portion having a geometrically patterned structure defining two spaced-apart substantially planar faces and providing air space therebetween, the core portion including cellulosic fiber-based walls having a core grammage; and at least one cellulosic fiber-based liner bonded to a respective one of the planar faces of the core portion and having a liner grammage lower than the core grammage, the material being flexible along a plane defined by the at least one liner.

Adhesive Fabrication Process for Garments and Other Fabric Products
20170143059 · 2017-05-25 ·

A process for fabricating a three-dimensional, multi-layered fabric product with a moisture barrier is provided. A partially seamed inner lining fabric assembly having at least a two-dimensional shape is laminated with a membrane barrier film having flaps left un-laminated to cover at least one seam. The inner lining fabric assembly is further seamed and flaps of the of the membrane barrier film overlapped into contact with each other and sealed to provide a continuous moisture barrier. A process for fabricating a stretchable section of a garment with a moisture barrier is also provided. At least a section of a garment is formed from fibers arranged in a pattern having a direction of stretch in one direction and a three-dimensional surface texture such that a portion of the fibers protrude above another portion of the fibers. The stretchable section is stretched in the direction of stretch. Segments of a membrane barrier film are adhered to an outer edge of the protruding portion of the fibers while the section is stretched in the direction of stretch, leaving intermediate segments of the barrier film free from adherence to the section. In this way, the intermediate segments of the membrane barrier film include slack that folds up to form ruches when the section is in a relaxed state.

MULTI-LAYER SLASH PROTECTIVE BODY ARMOR
20170115098 · 2017-04-27 ·

A slash-protecting panel is affordable, comfortable, flexible, light, and concealable, while providing at least 80N HOSDB slash protection. A plurality of solid elements are aligned on upper and lower backing sheets in rows and columns separated by continuous gaps between 25% and 95% as wide as the solid elements, the upper elements being centered above the gap intersections of the lower elements, leaving isolated gap islands uncovered but no continuous gaps. Embodiments further include a third layer with smaller button solid elements arranged behind the gap islands, leaving no gaps. The solid elements can be ceramic or metal, and the backing sheets can be ballistic fabric, or any convenient woven, non-woven, or warp knit. Solid elements can be attached to the sheets by rivets or adhesives, or held in pockets. Embodiments include an inner and/or an outer covering layer of a knit or similar fabric for added comfort.

LAMINATED WATERPROOF TEXTILE PRODUCT
