Method of producing a veneered element
A method of producing a veneered element (10), including providing a substrate (1), applying a sub-layer (2) on a surface of the substrate (1), applying a veneer layer (3) on the sub-layer (2), and applying pressure to the veneer layer (3) and/or the substrate (1), such that at least a portion of the sub-layer (2) permeates through the veneer layer (3). Also, such a veneered element (10).
Load bearing panel
A panel assembly includes a multilayer load bearing panel configured to enclose an opening to an interior compartment by positioning the panel in the opening. The panel has opposing first and second appearance layers and is reversible in the opening between first and second positions. In the first position, the first appearance layer is outwardly facing in the opening and the second appearance layer faces inwardly to the compartment. In the second position, the second appearance layer is outwardly facing in the opening and the first appearance layer faces inwardly to the compartment. One of the appearance layers is made of a protective polymeric coating such as a thermosetting polyurethane-based coating or thermoset polyurea coating. The other appearance layer is made of one of a laminate structure which can include a wood veneer, a textile, or a carpeting material. A method for making the multilayer panel is provided.
Cross-laminated timber processing equipment
A cross-laminated timber processing equipment comprises a longitudinal board loading mechanism, a transverse board loading mechanism, an adhesive spraying mechanism, laying cars, presses, a transfer car, and an unloading car. The longitudinal board loading mechanism lays longitudinal boards on a laying car at an assembly station, and the transverse board loading mechanism lays transverse boards on the laying car. The longitudinal boards and the transverse boards are perpendicularly and alternately laid layer by layer. The adhesive spraying mechanism is provided above the assembly station, and sprays an adhesive on the upper surfaces of assembled boards. The transfer car moves back and forth between a conveying station and an idle press through the assembly station, carries the laying cars and the assembled boards, and feeds the laying cars and the assembled boards into the presses for compaction. The unloading car moves back and forth between a press completing compaction and an unloading station, and conveys an idle laying car to the assembly station. Compared with other international similar equipment, this equipment can implement fully-automatic cross-laminated timber processing and production, and has low apparatus cost, high production capacity, high processing efficiency, and a great leading advantage.
Multilayered, flexible, flat semi-finished product or component with a segment-like surface and a method for its manufacture, as well as a multidimensionally curved moulded part made therefrom and a method for its manufacture
The invention relates to a multilayered, flexible, flat semi-finished product or component with a segment-like surface and a method for its manufacture, as well as a multidimensionally curved moulded part made therefrom and a method for the manufacture of such a component.
WOODEN DECORATIVE BOARD, MOLDED ARTICLE HAVING WOODEN DECORATIVE BOARD, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOLDED ARTICLE
A wooden decorative board includes a sliced veneer that is formed of a natural wood or an artificial wood having a plurality of irregularities formed by wooden conduits on a front surface; and a transparent base material disposed on at least one surface of the sliced veneer on a one side, and having a printed layer disposed on a surface opposite to the sliced veneer.
Floor panel and method for manufacturing floor panels
A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer provided thereon having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The floor panel is rectangular and oblong and comprises a pair of opposite short edges and a pair of opposite long edges. The floor panel, on at least said two opposite long edges, is provided with coupling means allowing that two of such floor panels can be coupled to each other in a vertical direction perpendicular to the plane of the coupled panels and in a horizontal direction in this plane and perpendicular to the respective edge. The wood veneer and/or the substrate immediately underneath the wood veneer is treated at least at the short edges with a fluoro copolymer or a polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate.
Composite boards and panels
A building panel (1) including a water resistant core (5) including thermoplastic material 21 and a surface layer (4) including thermosetting resins. Also, production methods to form a board material (1′) with a dry blend of thermoplastic particles 21a in powder form and fillers in powder form and to apply a surface layer (4) with a hot-hot lamination process to a core (5) including such board material.
Method and System for Sequencing Veneer to Lumbercore
A method for sequencing veneer to lumbercore includes receiving a veneer grain width input and a veneer thickness input, determining a cut angle based on the veneer grain width input and the veneer thickness input, receiving a lumbercore width input and a lumbercore height input, determining a set of dimensions for a stack of lumber, and generating a template mapping the lumbercore to the stack of lumber, where the template is based on the lumbercore width input, the lumbercore height input, and the set of dimensions for the stack of lumber, where the lumbercore is rotated within the template at an angle relative to horizontal within the stack of lumber by an amount equal to the cut angle.
LAMINATE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LAMINATE, AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATE
A laminate includes a substrate, a decorative base sheet, a print layer containing an alcohol having a boiling point of 180 degrees C. or higher, and a cross-linked resin. The cross-linked resin is obtained in such a manner that the resin contained in the decorative base sheet or an overlay layer forms a cross-linked structure using the alcohol contained in the print layer as the cross-linking component.
FLOOR PANEL
A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.
