Method And Apparatus for Changing Rolls on an Embosser/Laminator Machine
An embosser/laminator machine has an adhesive unit releasably connectable with a main frame structure of the machine, and a roll extractor configured to move a roll between the main frame structure and an exchange position between the main frame structure and the adhesive unit when the adhesive unit is spaced from the main frame structure during removal and installation of the roll. The sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit may be formed with a bearing cap that cooperates with the main frame structure such that when the adhesive unit is connected with the main frame structure, the roll is operatively secured to the machine between main frame structure and the sub-frame of the adhesive unit for normal operation of the machine. When the sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit is released and spaced from main frame structure, the roll may be removed from and installed into the main frame structure.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR CURING CONCRETE
An apparatus for curing concrete includes a multiple layer film and an absorbent layer. The film can include pH modifying components and antiskid components. The absorbent layer can include pH modifying components. The apparatus can be applied to concrete after hydration water is applied. The apparatus can enclose concrete members during transport so as to continue the curing process during transport. The film can be used as a barrier layer between the ground and poured concrete. The apparatus can be manufactured by heating a film to its crystalline softening point, applying adhesive material to an absorbent material, and adhering the film to the absorbent material. A method of curing concrete includes pouring concrete, waiting for the concrete to reach the bleed stage, providing hydration water, adding a pH modifying component to the hydration water, and applying the hydration water with the pH modifying component to the poured concrete.

PRODUCTION METHOD FOR FIRE RESISTANT ARTICLE
A method of forming an article is provided. Multi-fiber cellulose strips are interacted with a bonding agent and layered in a plurality of layers, the layered cellulose strips collectively defining opposed major surfaces. A porous sheet member, interacted with a fire-retarding solution, is engaged with one of the major surfaces of the layered cellulose strips, to substantially cover the major surface. The porous sheet member is disposed adjacent to a substantially smooth and uniform surface, and layered cellulose strips and the porous sheet member collectively exposed to an actuating element, configured to actuate the bonding agent to react in a volumetrically-expensive reaction with the fire-retarding solution to facilitate cohesion between the layered cellulose strips and the porous sheet member to form a board member, wherein the porous sheet member conforms to the adjacent surface via the volumetrically-expansive reaction to define a substantially smooth and uniform surface of the board member.
Manufacturing process of a laminated polymeric product
A manufacturing process of, and the relative laminated, polymeric semi-finished product are disclosed, the laminated, polymeric semi-finished product having in-depth aesthetic features, including at least two mutually welded layers by a lamination process with heat and/or pressure addition, wherein at least one of the layers is a thermoplastic material, in which the following steps are provided: providing a cohesion layer 100-500 micron thick, consisting of thermoplastic polyurethane, featuring in-depth aesthetic patterns; providing polymeric sheets with materials having a softening temperature above the one of the cohesion layer; and laminating at least one of the polymeric sheets at least partly transparent or translucent with the cohesion layer, by heat and/or pressure addition suitable to reach the softening of the cohesion layer featuring aesthetic patterns.
Cellulose fiber-based substrate, its manufacturing process and use as masking tape
A cellulose fiber-based substrate, at least one side of which is coated with an aqueous mixture composed of: a) at least one water-soluble polymer (WSP) containing hydroxyl groups, b) at least one lactone substituted with at least one linear or branched and/or cyclic C.sub.8-C.sub.30 hydrocarbon chain which may contain heteroatoms, c) at least one crosslinking agent. A method of production and use thereof.
Methods and apparatuses for curing concrete
An apparatus for curing concrete includes a multiple layer polyolefin film and an absorbent layer. The polyolefin film layer can include pH modifying components and antiskid components. The absorbent layer can also include pH modifying components. The absorbent layer can include nonwoven fabric. The apparatus can be applied to curing concrete after hydration water is applied to the curing concrete. The apparatus can also be used to enclose poured concrete members during transport of the members so as to continue the curing process during transport. The film can also be used as a barrier layer between the ground and poured concrete.
SHEET, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SHEET, AND METHOD FOR LAMINATING SHEET
An object of the present invention is to provide a cellulose-based sheet which has excellent transparency, and exhibits excellent adhesiveness when thermally press-adhered. The sheet includes a laminate including a layer formed of a cellulose-based material and a layer formed of a thermoplastic elastomer. Each of molecules forming the thermoplastic elastomer has both a rubber component having entropy elasticity and a molecule-constraining component for preventing plastic deformation.
Biodegradable magnetic toilet seat cover
Apparatuses of a biodegradable magnetic toilet seat cover and methods for manufacturing the same are provided. In one embodiment, a biodegradable magnetic toilet seat cover includes a bottom layer configured to contact with a toilet seat, where the bottom layer is made to prevent elements on the toilet seat from permeating to a skin of a user, a top layer configured to contact with the user, where the top layer is made to provide a comfortable touch to the skin of the user, and a middle layer configured to hold the bottom layer and the top layer together, where the middle layer is further configured to hold the biodegradable magnetic toilet seat cover to the toilet seat magnetically. The biodegradable magnetic toilet seat cover may additionally or optionally include an anti-splashing flap formed with polyvinyl alcohol or viscose spunlace non-woven film, and where the anti-splashing flap is configured to prevent elements from the toilet to reach the user.
