A first polymer- based layer comprising polyvinyl chloride is coupled to a first surface of the core layer by a first adhesive layer. A second polymer-based layer comprising polyvinyl chloride is coupled to a second surface of the core layer by a second adhesive layer. The first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer comprise an adhesive formulated to bond the post-consumer polyethylene and the polymer-based layers.

Methods for making multilayer dental aligners

A multilayer sheet comprising first and second layers is provided. The first layer consists of a co-polyester. The second layer consists of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having an elongation at break of greater than 200%, a hardness of 60A to 85D, an ultimate tensile strength of greater than about 5000 psi, and a light transmission between 400 nm and 800 nm of greater than about 75%. A mold is provided and the multilayer sheet is thermoformed over the mold to form a plurality of tooth-receiving cavities configured to receive and reposition a patient's teeth from a first arrangement toward a second arrangement. Excess material is trimmed from the thermoformed multilayer sheet to form a multilayer dental aligner.

Method for protecting Low-E glass plate, method for producing glass unit, laminate and protective sheet for Low-E glass plate

Provided is a Low-E glass plate protection method capable of preventing or inhibiting Low-E layer alteration. The protection method includes a step of applying a protective sheet to a surface of a Low-E glass plate having a Low-E layer comprising a zinc component. Here, the protective sheet has a PSA layer. The Low-E layer comprises a zinc component. The PSA layer includes ammonia and an acid or acid salt capable of forming a counterion to an ammonium ion.

Decorative sheet, and transparent resin sheet

To provide a decorative sheet including a transparent resin layer having high transparency and excellent surface scratch resistance from the viewpoint of the design properties and a transparent resin sheet. A decorative sheet (1) according to one aspect of the present invention has a transparent resin layer (4) containing a crystalline polypropylene resin as the main component, in which a value of a peak area ratio x represented by the following expression (1) of the transparent resin layer (4) is x≥0.4. Herein, S040, S130, and Sam in the following expression (1) are peak areas determined from an X-ray diffraction spectrum obtained by measuring the transparent resin layer with an X-ray diffractometer, S040 is the peak area from the Miller index (040) of polypropylene α crystals, S130 is the peak area from the Miller index (130) of the polypropylene α crystals, and Sam is the peak area of an amorphous material. Peak area ratio x = ( S 040 + S 130 ) ( Sam ) ( 1 )

Methods for manufacturing and assembling dual material tissue interface for negative-pressure therapy

A dressing for treating tissue with negative pressure may be a composite of dressing layers, including a release film, perforated gel layer, a perforated polymer film, a manifold, and an adhesive cover. A method of manufacturing the dressing may comprise providing a first layer, such as the gel layer, on a substrate, perforating the first layer on the substrate to create a plurality of apertures in the first layer, and creating an index of the plurality of apertures in the first layer. A laser can be calibrated based on the index. A second layer, such as the polymer film, may be coupled to the first layer, and a plurality of slots can be cut in the second layer with the laser. Each of the slots can be cut through one of the apertures in the first layer based on the index.

Apertured elastic film laminates

An elastic laminate is provided including at least one gathered outer facing layer of a fabric and an apertured elastic film attached thereto. The aperture film includes a series of alternating first and second segments that extend continuously along the direction of elasticity. The first segments of the film are substantially devoid of any apertures and the second segments are strewn with apertures of irregular size and shape. The regionally limited and irregular apertures are formed by the controlled rupturing of the film within those segments. The elastic laminate has excellent air-permeability and elastic properties.

Multilayer polymer sheets

Multilayer polymer sheets are provided, as well as related methods, systems, and appliances.
