Water-based acrylic adhesive compositions comprising (A) an acrylic emulsion comprising an acrylic copolymer particle dispersed in an aqueous medium, (B) a crosslinking agent comprising a hydrophilic aliphatic isocyanate, and (C) a silane compound incorporated into the crosslinking agent (B) are disclosed. In some embodiments, the silane compound (C) incorporated into the crosslinking agent (B) is selected from the group consisting of (3-Glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane, 3-(Triethoxysilyl)propyl isocyanate, and combinations thereof. Methods for preparing water-based acrylic adhesive compositions also disclosed. Methods for preparing a laminate structure suitable for use in a flexible food packaging article are still further disclosed. Flexible food packaging articles including the disclosed water-based acrylic adhesive compositions are also disclosed.

The present disclosure provides a process for forming a laminate. The process includes (A) uniformly applying an isocyanate component to a first substrate, the isocyanate component containing an isocyanate compound; (B) uniformly applying an isocyanate-reactive component to a second substrate, the isocyanate-reactive component containing an amine-terminated compound; (C) bringing the first substrate and the second substrate together, thereby mixing and reacting the isocyanate component and the isocyanate-reactive component to form an adhesive composition between the first substrate and the second substrate; (D) curing the adhesive composition to bond the first substrate and the second substrate; and (E) forming the laminate.

[Problem] To provide a thermoplastic resin film excellent in impact resistance, formability and trimmability when forming a container, productivity, and the like, and a thermoplastic resin-coated metal sheet. [Solution] A thermoplastic resin film contains 70 to 97 wt % of a thermoplastic polyester resin component and 3 to 30 wt % of a polyolefin resin component. The polyolefin resin component contains one or more polyolefin resins selected from the group consisting of nonpolar polyolefin resins and polyolefin resins having ester-containing functional groups in side chains thereof. The polyolefin resin component is dispersed, in the thermoplastic polyester resin component, in a fibrous form having an average length of 5 to 300 μm in a machine direction of the film, an average length of 0.2 to 5 μm in a thickness direction of the film, and an aspect ratio of 8 or greater.

Floor panel

A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.

The invention relates to a method for producing a bobbin and a bobbin. The bobbin includes a plurality of windings of a continuous laminated sheet having at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material. The at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and the at least one layer of a first protective material define an adhesion surface between them. The first protective material is selected from polypropylene, polyethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyester, or paper.
