The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.

Method for producing a bobbin comprising alkaloids containing material
The invention relates to a method for producing a bobbin comprising a plurality of wounds of a laminated sheet, the method comprising the steps of: •providing a continuous sheet of alkaloids containing material having a free surface; •providing a continuous sheet of a first protective material having a free surface; •adhering the free surface of the continuous sheet of the first protective material to the free surface of the continuous sheet of alkaloids containing material to form a continuous laminated sheet comprising at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material, wherein said at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and said at least one layer of a first protective material define an adhesion surface between them; •feeding said laminated sheet to a rotatable center core; •rotating the center core so as to wind said continuous laminated sheet around it in such a way to form said bobbin comprising a plurality of wounds of a continuous laminated sheet comprising at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material.
LAMINATE METHODS AND PRODUCTS
The present disclosure relates to new laminate films whereby a contact layer is adhesive laminated to a base layer, such as a metal foil, or whereby a co-extrusion layer comprising a contact layer and at least one tie layer is adhered to a base layer, as well as uses of the laminate films to wrap APIs such as nicotine, fentanyl, lidocaine and rivastigmine, wherein the contact layer comprises COC, PA, EVOH, CBC, PVDF, COP, HDPE or EMAA.
FLOOR AND WALL MAT AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing a mat is provided. The method involves securing a first layer formed of a polymer within a base die, positioning an intermediate cushion layer on top of the first layer, securing a second layer formed of the polymer to the base die, and securing a perimeter of the first layer to a perimeter of the second layer by radio-frequency welding, so as to envelop the intermediate cushion layer within the first and second layers and thereby form the mat. The first layer has a first surface and an opposing second surface in contact with the base die. The intermediate cushion layer has a first surface and an opposing second surface in contact with the first surface of the first layer. The second layer has a first surface and an opposing second surface in contact with the first surface of the intermediate cushion layer.
MULTILAYER DENTAL APPLIANCES AND RELATED METHODS AND SYSTEMS
A dental appliance for positioning a patient's teeth includes a removable orthodontic tooth positioning appliance having teeth receiving cavities shaped to directly receive at least some of the patient's teeth and apply a resilient positioning force to the patient's teeth. The appliance includes a hard polymer layer having a hard polymer layer elastic modulus disposed between a first soft polymer layer having a first soft polymer layer elastic modulus and a second soft polymer layer having a second soft polymer layer elastic modulus. The hard polymer layer elastic modulus is greater than each of the first soft polymer layer elastic modulus and the second soft polymer layer elastic modulus. At least one of the first soft polymer layer and the second soft polymer layer has a flexural modulus of greater than about 35,000 psi.
Laminate and method of making same
A laminate is made by first making by melt-blowing or spunbonding of multicomponent, thermoplastic, and endless filaments a first nonwoven layer lying generally in a plane and having a predetermined shrinkage capacity or potential parallel to the plane and making of thermoplastic and endless filaments a second nonwoven layer also lying generally in a respective plane and having a shrinkage capacity or potential that is smaller than that of the first nonwoven layer. The two layers are directly juxtaposed flatly on each other, and the directly juxtaposed first and second layer are bonded together only at bonded regions while leaving an array of unbonded regions distributed over a surface of the two bonded-together nonwoven layers. Then only the first nonwoven layer is shrunk so that the second layer bunches in the unbonded regions and is there raised transverse to a plane of the bonded-together layers.
