The reflection layer contains a material having a refractive index n.sub.R of 1.6 to 2.5. The product of the refractive index n.sub.R and the thickness d of the reflection layer is from 250 nm to 960 nm.
Interlayer for laminated glass and laminated glass
There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which double images in laminated glass can be considerably suppressed. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention has one end and the other end being at the opposite side of the one end, makes the thickness of the other end larger than the thickness of the one end, has a display corresponding region corresponding to a display area of the head-up display, and when a position apart from an end part at the one end side of the display corresponding region by 4 cm toward the other end is set to a start point, a position apart from an end part at the other end side of the display corresponding region by 4 cm toward the one end is set to an end point, spots are selected at 2-mm intervals from the start point to the end point, and the interlayer film is measured for the amount of change in the thickness within respective segments, centered on the respective spots, of 80 mm in a direction connecting the one end and the other end, makes the absolute value of a difference between the largest value among values of the amount of change in the thickness and the smallest value among values of the amount of change in the thickness 32 m or less.
HIGH PERFORMANCE PRIVACY GLAZING STRUCTURES
A privacy glazing structure may be fabricated from multiple panes of transparent material that hold an optically active material and also define a between-pane space that is separated from a surrounding environment for thermal insulating properties. The privacy glazing structure may include various functional coatings and intermediate films to enhance the performance and/or life span of the structure. For example, the privacy glazing structure may include a low emissivity coating and a laminate layer positioned between an optically active layer and an exterior environment exposed to sunlight. The low emissivity coating and laminate layer may work in combination to effectively protect the optically active layer from sunlight degradation. Additionally or alternatively, the laminate layer may impart safety and impact resistance properties to the structure.
Method for laminating a laminated pane comprising a functional element with electrically switchable optical properties
A method for producing a laminated pane with a functional element with electrically switchable optical properties, includes creating a first stack of layers including a first pane, a first thermoplastic laminating film, a separating film, a second thermoplastic laminating film, a second pane, laminating the first stack of layers while being heated, taking the first pane with the first thermoplastic laminating film off the second pane with the second thermoplastic laminating film, and the at least one separating film is removed from the stack of layers, providing a functional element having an active layer, placing the functional element into the stack of layers, whereby a second stack of layers is formed, laminating the second stack of layers to form a laminated pane, wherein the separating film is detachable residue-free from the first thermoplastic laminating film and the second thermoplastic laminating film.
Glass cover
The present disclosure relates to a glass cover, particularly a glass cover used in a vehicle roof, which includes a glass pane, anti-shatter layer means arranged on an underside of the glass pane, and an encapsulation formed on an edge region of the glass pane wherein the anti-shatter layer means covers the whole underside of the glass pane and extends into the encapsulation.
ANISOTROPIC EXOTHERMIC SHEET, INTERMEDIATE FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS
The present invention aims to provide an anisotropic heating sheet which is capable of emitting generated heat in a specific direction to efficiently utilize its energy, and which has excellent handleability. The present invention also aims to provide an interlayer film for a laminated glass and a laminated glass each including the anisotropic heating sheet. Provided is an anisotropic heating sheet including: a laminate including an aerogel layer containing an aerogel and a heating layer, the aerogel layer having a tensile strain at break of 0.1% or higher as determined by a tensile test in conformity with JIS C 2151.
LAMINATED GLASS
Provided is laminated glass capable of preventing generation of a projection in the interlayer film in an end part of laminated glass, and keeping the appearance of laminated glass excellent. Laminated glass according to the present invention is laminate glass including a first lamination glass member, a second lamination glass member, and an interlayer film containing a thermoplastic resin, and when a light irradiation test: conducting 4 cycles each cycle including the process of irradiating the laminated glass with xenon light at a black panel temperature of 83 C. and a humidity of 50% RH for 144 hours, and dipping the laminated glass in pure water at 80 C. for 24 hours is conducted in the laminated glass, a ratio of a weight average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin at a position of 2 mm inwardly from an end part of the laminated glass, to a weight average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin at a position of 70 mm inwardly from an end part of the laminated glass is more than 0.5.
