Methods For Manufacturing And Assembling Dual Material Tissue Interface For Negative-Pressure Therapy
20200276058 · 2020-09-03 ·

A dressing for treating tissue with negative pressure may be a composite of dressing layers, including a release film, perforated gel layer, a perforated polymer film, a manifold, and an adhesive cover. A method of manufacturing the dressing may comprise providing a first layer, such as the gel layer, on a substrate, perforating the first layer on the substrate to create a plurality of apertures in the first layer, and creating an index of the plurality of apertures in the first layer. A laser can be calibrated based on the index. A second layer, such as the polymer film, may be coupled to the first layer, and a plurality of slots can be cut in the second layer with the laser. Each of the slots can be cut through one of the apertures in the first layer based on the index.

Machine direction-oriented polymeric films include a polyolefin. Methods for forming polymeric films and articles of manufacture prepared therefrom are described.

ANTIFOG POLYESTER LIDDING FILM FOR CPET TRAYS

The present disclosure is directed to peelable, heat-sealable lidding films for containers of diverse polymer compositions storing various products such as foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals. The lidding films disclosed herein can be heat-sealed to crystalline polyester trays (CPET), easily peeled, and contain improved antifogging performance by incorporating a non-migratory antifogging additive into the heat sealable layer of the film without deteriorating seal strengths.

Manufacturing of decorative surfaces

A method for manufacturing decorative surfaces includes, in order, the steps of a) inkjet printing an image on a first thermoplastic foil by jetting and UV curing one or more pigmented free radical UV curable inkjet inks on the first thermoplastic foil; b) applying on the inkjet printed image a second thermoplastic foil carrying a layer containing a vinylchloride-vinylacetate-vinylalcohol copolymer with the layer facing the inkjet printed image on the first thermoplastic foil; and c) heat pressing the first and second thermoplastic foils into a decorative laminate; wherein at least one of the first and second thermoplastic foils is transparent, and the one or more pigmented free radical UV curable inkjet inks contain a polymerizable composition having: 30 to 90 wt % of one or more compounds with one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable group; 10 to 70 wt % of one or more compounds with two ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups; and 0 to 10 wt % of one or more compounds with three or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups.

Embodiments of this disclosure pertain to a laminate including a first substrate, an interlayer and a light responsive material disposed on the first substrate, and a second substrate disposed on the interlayer. The laminate may be complexly curved. The light responsive material may include any one or more of an electrochromic material, a photochromic material, a suspended particle material, a micro-blind material and a liquid crystal material. In one or more embodiments, the laminate comprises a display unit disposed between the first and second substrate. Methods for forming the laminate are also disclosed.

LAMINATED GLASS

Provided is a laminated glass capable of preventing scorching in an end part of the laminated glass. A laminated glass according to the present invention is a laminated glass including a first glass plate, a second glass plate, and an interlayer film, at least one of the first glass plate and the second glass plate being a heat ray absorbing plate glass conforming to JIS R3208:1998, each of the first glass plate and the second glass plate having a thickness of 1.9 mm or less, when a layer having a lowest glass transition temperature in the interlayer film being referred to as a layer X, the layer X containing a thermoplastic resin, a ratio of a weight average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin in the layer X before the light irradiation test, to a weight average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin in the layer X after the light irradiation test being 2 or less.

LAMINATED GLASS COMPRISING INTERLAYER FILM LAYERS WITH A PIGMENTED FRAME

Laminated glass having an opaque frame area is obtained by laminating at least one film A containing polyvinyl acetal PA and optionally at least one plasticiser WA and at least one film B containing a polyvinyl acetal PB and at least one plasticiser WB between two glass sheets, wherein prior to lamination the amount of plasticiser WA in film A is less than 22% by weight the amount of plasticiser WB in film B is at least 22% by weight and film A comprises at least on one surface a non-transparent region.
