SWITCHABLE ELECTRICAL COMPOSITE PANE ARRAY
A composite switchable pane array, having: a first pane; a second pane, and an intermediate layer arranged therebetween, wherein the intermediate layer has at least one first thermoplastic polymer film and one second thermoplastic polymer film, and an SPD film arranged therebetween; and an edge sealing arranged in the outer edge region of the intermediate layer, containing a polyimide (PI) and/or polyisobutylene (FIB).
INTERMEDIATE FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS
The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for laminated glass capable of displaying images with a high luminous intensity when irradiated with a light beam and having excellent durability, and a laminated glass including the interlayer film for laminated glass. The present invention relates to an interlayer film for laminated glass, including a light-emitting layer that contains a polyvinyl acetal resin and a lanthanoid complex as light-emitting particles, the light-emitting layer containing not more than 100 ppm in total of a nitric acid-derived component and a carbonate component.
LAMINATED PANE, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF, AND USE THEREOF
A laminated pane having two main surfaces and a circumferential edge surface is presented. The laminated pane includes, in order and adhesively joined one atop another, a transparent glass pane, a transparent adhesion-promoting layer, an opaque or translucent stone layer, and an all-around seal of the circumferential edge surface. According to one aspect, the all-around seal has at least two polymer layers of different materials. One of the polymer layers is an adhesive film that engages, on its boundary layer, in pores and/or cracks of the stone layer. The other polymer layer is a barrier film that forms a fluid barrier. Methods for producing and using of the laminated pane are also presented.
INTERMEDIATE FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS USING THE INTERMEDIATE FILM
The present disclosure provides an intermediate film for laminated glass formed by laminating a polyvinyl acetal resin layer, and an inorganic fine particle-containing acrylic resin layer containing inorganic fine particles and an acrylic resin.
INTERMEDIATE FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS USING THE INTERMEDIATE FILM

Method for manufacturing professional grade skateboard decks using recycled wood fiber veneer substrate
An environmentally friendly composite material for use in the manufacture of professional grade skateboard decks and other high quality equipment and sporting gear. In the one embodiment, a skateboard deck is manufactured from a composition of recycled hard rock maple wood fibers, a polyvinyl acetate adhesive, a cross-link catalyst and water. The malleable nature of the composite material prior to curing, allows the skateboard deck to attain virtually any desired shape. Differing composites and adhesives may be employed to achieve the a similar product when properly cured. Once cured, the composite material is light weight, strong, durable, and requires no lacquers or other sealers.
Fabric reinforced traction mat
A traction mat wherein the foam is reinforced with a layer of fabric or fiber between the CLCC foam layer and the substrate or underlying surface. The layering is preferably a first foam layer, a first adhesive layer, a fabric and/or fiber layer, followed by a second adhesive layer. This prevents the CLCC foam from being bonded directly to the substrate which allows the fabric/fiber to support the CLCC foam such that the entire assembly can be removed in one piece without the CLCC foam disintegrating. The introduction of the reinforcing fabric and/or fiber layer eliminates any residual CLCC foam from being bonded to the substrate. Consequently, the traction mat can be easily lifted away and removed.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE-ADHESIVE RELEASE FILM FOR ORIENTED HDPE
In one example embodiment, disclosed is a polyethylene film comprising a core layer comprising at least 85 wt. % high-density polyethylene. Further, the polyethylene film comprises a first tie layer on a first side of the core layer consisting essentially of: (i) at least about 50 wt. % high-density polyethylene; and (ii) from 5 wt. % through 40 wt. % of each of: (a) an olefin-block copolymer; and (b) low-density polyethylene polymer and/or ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer. Further still, the polyethylene film comprises a first skin layer on the first tie layer, wherein the first skin layer comprises a polyethylene-based polymer, silicone, and antiblock agent, wherein the polyethylene film is coextruded and oriented either monoaxially or biaxially. Yet further, the polyethylene film is adhered to face stock, which optionally excludes silicone.
OPTICAL INTERLAYERS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Optical interlayers, laminated composites and improved methods for manufacturing the optical interlayers and laminated composites are provided. An optical interlayer film comprises at least one surface having an embossed surface pattern having at least two channels extending in at least two non-parallel directions. The channels have a depth of greater than about 20 ?m. The surface pattern allows for the removal of air between the interlayer and the outer laminate sheets, thereby establishing the requisite seal therebetween while minimizing premature edge sealing. The laminated composites are particularly useful for safety glazing in a variety of applications, such as automobiles, airplanes, trains, or other modes of transportation, display devices, windows in homes and other buildings, building facades, cabinets, and/or weight bearing architectural structures such as stairs and floors.
Intermediate film for laminated glass, and laminated glass
An interlayer film for laminated glass that can improve a sound insulation property of an obtained laminated glass when the interlayer film for laminated glass is used for configuring the laminated glass is provided. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention includes a first layer and a second layer laminated on a first surface of the first layer. The first layer includes a polyvinyl acetate resin and a plasticizer.
