Conveyor belt
Provided is a conveyor belt that has sufficient stretchability and elasticity, and sufficient strength, and is capable of reliably conveying an object to be conveyed even in inclined conveyance. The conveyor belt includes: a stretchable knitted fabric 15; an elastic layer 14 that is provided on an upper surface of the knitted fabric 15 and is made of a first thermoplastic material; and a surface resin layer 20 that is provided on an upper surface of the elastic layer 14, is made of a second thermoplastic material having hardness lower than hardness of the first thermoplastic material, and the surface resin layer 20 includes a conveying surface 21 having unevenness. Tensile strength of the conveyor belt is 3.5 to 35 MPa, and a coefficient of static friction of the conveying surface 21 is 0.5 to 1.0.
FLAME RESISTANT RUBBER BASED ARTICLES
Hose embodiments include an inner tube, a reinforcement layer disposed outwardly adjacent the inner tube, and an outer cover layer disposed outwardly adjacent the reinforcement layer. One or more of the inner tube and cover layer may be based upon a curable composition having EPDM, a filler package, and a sulfur curative, and after curing, the hose embodiments meet the testing requirements of the UL 94 standard. In some cases, the inner tube is based upon the curable composition, while in some other cases, the cover layer is based upon the curable composition. Yet, in other cases, the inner tube and the cover layer each is based upon the curable composition. In some aspects, the curable composition includes the EPDM in an amount of from 10% to 30% by weight, or even in an amount of from 30% to 80% by weight.
Conveyor belt
A conveyor belt includes core layers made of fabric disposed between an upper cover rubber and a lower cover rubber. At least one core layer has a strength in the belt width direction ranging from 30% to 70% of a strength in the belt longitudinal direction.

GARMENT INCORPORATING AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE DISPERSIONS HAVING ALTERED STRESS PROFILE
Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.
Lamination Process and Using Coated Fiber Cores to create an adhesive layer and/or a reinforcement layer
The invention includes a method of providing an intermediary layer in a laminated structure, between two adjacent layers, where the intermediary layer contains a fiber having an extrusion coating. The intermediary layer may form a textile constructed from the fibers, the intermediary layer, when the lamination method proceeds, provides the adhesion between the adjacent layers, as well as reinforcement for the laminated structure.
PAPERMAKING BELTS HAVING OFFSET OPENINGS, PAPERMAKING PROCESSES USING BELTS HAVING OFFSET OPENINGS, AND PAPER PRODUCTS MADE THEREFROM
A belt for creping a web in a papermaking process. The belt includes a surface onto which the web is transferred during the papermaking process. A plurality of openings extend through the surface, with the openings being arranged in lines that are offset from lines in the machine direction (MD) and cross-machine direction (CD) of the belt. Paper products, such as absorbent sheets, made from the belt have hollow dome regions and connecting regions between the domes, with the domes being arranged in lines that are offset from lines in the MD and CD of the paper products.
GARMENT INCORPORATING WATERPROOF OR WATER RESILIENT AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE DISPERSIONS AND/OR HAVING ALTERED STRESS PROFILE
Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment and/or has one or more sections of waterproof or water-resilient fabric. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.
Conveyor belt for marginal life prediction
There is provided a conveyor belt for marginal life prediction, in which wear of the degree of the conveyor belt can be well and visually recognized without stopping of the conveyor belt on operation, and the replacement time of the conveyor belt can be easily predicted in advance, thereby to predict and efficiently manage the life time of the conveyor belt. It was difficult to check abrasion extents step by step and exactly predict the life time in the conventional conveyor belts. Further, the accidents of carrying articles released out of the conveyor belt were frequently occurred since troughs of the conveyor belt are not formed enough, and the angle of the trough is so small. As the way of solving the problems as above, while the wear of the conveyor belt is progressed, and when the abrasion check colored rubbers, which are embedded inside the conveyor belt, are exposed outwardly and checked visually by eyes, the extent of the abrasion of the conveyor belt can be estimated and the exchange time of the conveyor belt can be well predicted. The number of the exposed abrasion check colored rubbers is well detected by installing the abrasion check colored rubbers in multi-layers with installation number reduced downwardly, thereby to enable anybody to predict the life time of the conveyor belt step by step precisely.
Draper belt with a rubber insert inside the cleats to increase belt durability and reduce fiberglass rod
A draper belt (8) having a carry layer (14), a pulley cover layer (13), and a reinforcing layer (12) which is situated between the carry layer (14) and the pulley cover layer (13). The draper belt (8) has a first edge (30) and a second edge (31). The carry layer (14) includes a plurality of cleats (7) which run from the first edge (30) to the second edge (31) of the draper belt. The cleats (7) are reinforced with reinforcing rods which are comprised of a cured rubbery polymer which includes at least 3 phr of reinforcing fibers.
