Reconfigurable water distribution system for a walk-in tub bathing installation with a single pump for multiple functions

A reconfigurable water distribution system for a walk-in tub bathing installation including two or more types of discharge ports for discharging water. The system includes a single motorized pump having an input connected to a suction port of the bathing installation, and an output port delivering pressurized water. A pipe system selectively connects the pump to the two or more types of discharge ports to selectively direct the pressurized water to the different ones of the types of discharge ports. The system selectively enables the bathing installation to perform a plurality of different functions using a single pump.

A microbubble device controller includes a box, and a first water pipe, a gas pipe and a bypass pipe installed in the box. The first water pipe is connected to a pump and has a first electromagnetic control valve to open or close the first water pipe. The gas pipe is connected to a gas source and the pump, and has a second electromagnetic control valve to open or close the gas pipe. The bypass pipe is connected to the first water pipe and has a pressure switch in telecommunication connection with the second electromagnetic control valve. The first electromagnetic control valve controls the first water pipe to be in the high flow state or a closed state to affect the bypass pipe. When the bypass pipe is in a high pressure state, the second electromagnetic control valve opens the gas pipe, or closes the gas pipe otherwise.

A bathing system includes a primary reservoir, a secondary reservoir, and an atomizer. The primary reservoir is configured to hold a first volume of water. The secondary reservoir is in fluid communication with the primary reservoir by a channel. The secondary reservoir is configured to hold a second volume of water. The atomizer is disposed in the secondary reservoir, and is configured to introduce water from the second volume of water into a flow of air received in the channel by atomizing at least a portion of the second volume of water to form an air-water mixture upstream of the primary reservoir.

An extendable jet assembly for a liquid-filled container includes a housing configured to be positioned in an opening in a wall of the container. The housing includes a proximal end configured to be connected to a liquid conduit, a distal end connected to the opening in the wall, and a sidewall extending therebetween. The jet assembly also includes an extendable jet at least partially mounted in the housing defining a liquid channel extending between a proximal end and a distal end thereof. The jet includes a valve at least partially disposed in the liquid channel of the jet. When the valve is open, the jet is configured to transition from a retracted position to an extended position. When the valve is closed the jet is configured to transition from the extended position to the retracted position.

Air injectors are provided for conveying fluid and/or gas (e.g., air) into the fluid of a bathing apparatus. The air injectors can include a component for attachment to an outside surface of the bathing apparatus that can be hidden from the view of a user and another component for attachment to a source of the fluid and/or gas (e.g., air). The two components can be connected together for use or disconnected for servicing and cleaning the injectors, as well as servicing a check valve or the injectors.
