DISPOSABLE CUP FOR HOT AND CHILLED BEVERAGES
The utility model relates to drinking vessels, more specifically to a disposable container for hot and cold beverages. The technical result lies in the creation of a disposable cup made of a multi-layered material based on foamed primary polyethylene terephthalate and/or secondary polyethylene terephthalate (obtained from polyethylene terephthalate waste), which is easy to produce and fit for use. The essence of the invention consists in that a disposable cup has a lateral wall, in the form of a rotation body, and a base, which are fastened to each other, wherein a flanged edge is formed in the upper part of the lateral wall, the lateral wall and the base are multi-layered and comprise a layer of foamed polyethylene terephthalate with a density of from 100 kg/m.sup.3 to 900 kg/m.sup.3 and a characteristic viscosity of from 0.5 dl/g to 1.0 dl/g, which is connected to a polyethylene layer by fusion.
MULTILAYER FILM COMPRISING HIGHLY REFINED CELLULOSE FIBERS
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multilayer film comprising highly refined cellulose fibers, the method comprising the steps of: a) forming a first wet web by applying a first pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose fibers on a first wire; b) partially dewatering the first wet web to obtain a first partially dewatered web; c) forming a second wet web by applying a second pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose fibers on a second wire; d) partially dewatering the second wet web to obtain a second partially dewatered web; e) joining the first and second partially dewatered web to obtain a multilayer web; and f) further dewatering, and optionally drying, the multilayer web to obtain a multilayer film comprising highly refined cellulose fibers; wherein at least one of said first and second pulp suspension comprises lignin at a concentration in the range of 0.1-50 wt %, based on the total dry weight of the pulp suspension.
PACKAGE
A hybrid package (10) is provided and comprises a wall (20) formed from a paper or paper-based material and a frame (15) formed from a plastics material. The frame (15) includes a step which is positioned against a free edge of the wall, whereby one or more exposed edges of the wall are protected by the frame.

ALUMINUM-FREE CORNET CONE PACKAGE
A recyclable and environmentally friendly cornet cone package which does not contain an aluminum layer and only contains a paper layer.
Composite engine oil pan and method of making
A composite oil pan for a work vehicle engine and a method of forming the composite engine oil pan include forming a sheet of metal into a first pan and open molding a fiber-reinforced polymer resin onto the first pan forming a second pan. The first pan has a first bottom wall and first peripheral walls extending from edges of the first bottom wall to define a sump, the first peripheral walls terminating in a first peripheral flange. The second pan has a second bottom wall and second peripheral walls abutting the first bottom wall and the first peripheral walls, the second peripheral walls terminating in a second peripheral flange. The first pan defines a thin metal structure with an inner surface extending across the first bottom wall, first peripheral walls and first peripheral flange; the second pan reinforces the first pan without abutting the inner surface.
BEVERAGE SLEEVE
A beverage sleeve provides a device for a consumer to use in connection with a hot or cold beverage. The sleeve is operable to keep the hot beverage container cool to the touch for the consumer while keeping a cold beverage dry to the touch of the consumer. A method of manufacturing produces the improved sleeve. The sleeve includes marketing opportunities by providing advertising indicia that are interfacable with the consumer and a marketing network.
PAD HOLDER
A pad holder includes a base panel. The base panel includes a panel perimeter edge that defines a panel face. A lip material is connected to the panel face at a connection. A lip of the lip material extends from the connection towards a center of the panel face. The lip includes a lip perimeter edge, and the lip, panel face, and the connection collectively define an envelope. The envelope includes an opening defined by the lip perimeter edge. The envelope is sized to receive a liquid absorbent pad where the lip overlaps edges of the liquid absorbent pad when the liquid absorbent pad is disposed within the envelope.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FOAMABLE LAMINATE, FOAMABLE LAMINATE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND FOAMED CONVERTED PAPER AND HEAT INSULATING CONTAINER USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a polyethylene resin composition for a foamable laminate which gives foamed cells having sufficient height and good appearance (foamed layer), even in the case of machining under high speed conditions at the time of extrusion lamination, a foamable laminate, a method for producing the same, a foamed converted paper, and a heat insulating container. The invention relates to a polyethylene resin composition for a foamable laminate, which is used for forming a polyethylene-based resin layer (I) for foaming on at least one side of a substrate mainly composed of paper, wherein the resin composition comprises a polyethylene-based resin (A) and satisfies the following properties (a-1) to (a-4):
(a-1) the melt flow rate (MFR) of the polyethylene-based resin (A) as measured in accordance with JIS K7210 (190° C., a load of 21.18N) is 7 g/10 minutes or more and less than 20 g/10 minutes,
(a-2) the density of the polyethylene-based resin (A) in accordance with JIS K7112 at a test temperature of 23° C. is from 0.900 to 0.930 g/cm.sup.3,
(a-3) the oxygen induction time (OIT) at 180° C. is 10 minutes or more and less than 190 minutes,
