To provide a resin composition, a pellet, a composite molded article, a method for manufacturing a composite molded article and a tank, all capable of enabling tight joining and integration of the polyacetal resin molded article and the polyethylene resin molded article, and of suppressing formaldehyde emission and occurrence of mold deposit. The resin composition contains a resin ingredient and melamine, the resin ingredient containing a polyacetal resin and a maleic anhydride-modified polyethylene resin, the polyacetal resin and the maleic anhydride-modified polyethylene resin following a mass proportion of (20 to 49):(80 to 51), and molar concentration of the maleic anhydride group capable of reacting with amino group of melamine contained in the resin composition being 5 to 25 μmol/g.
Multilayer Polylactide Based Structure and Articles Made Therefrom
The present invention relates to a multilayer structure, such as a film or a sheet, and articles made from such multilayer structures. The present invention provides a multilayer structure comprising at least three different layers A, B and C, wherein said layer B is disposed between said layer A and said layer C and is capable of binding said layer A to said layer C, wherein layer A comprises a polylactide (PLA) polymer, layer B comprises a lactide-rich poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) polymer, and layer C comprises a polyglycolide (PGA) polymer and/or a glycolide-rich poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) polymer. The present invention also provides a multilayer structure comprising at least one barrier layer, providing gas barrier properties, wherein said barrier layer comprises a glycolide-rich poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) polymer.
TRANSPARENT POLYMER FILM WITH DISCOLOURATION COMPENSATION
A single-layer or multilayer film formed from one or more polymeric materials has CIE colour values a* and b* such that −7≤a*≤0, −15≤b*≤0 and an optical transmission T such that 60%≤T≤95%. The inventive transparent films provide discoloration compensation that alleviates yellowing caused by UV light.
ALL-POLYETHYLENE LAMINATE FILM STRUCTURES HAVING BARRIER ADHESIVE LAYER
Recyclable, all-polyethylene laminate film structures suitable for use in a flexible packaging are disclosed. The structures comprise a film layer consisting essentially of an ethylene-based polymer and a barrier adhesive layer disposed on a surface of the film layer, wherein the structure has an oxygen transmission rate not greater than 100 O.sub.2/m.sup.2/day, measured according to ASTM Method D3985. Recyclable, all-polyethylene laminate film structures suitable for use in a flexible packaging are disclosed comprising (A) a sealant film layer consisting essentially of an ethylene-based polymer, (B) an intermediate film layer consisting essentially of an ethylene-based polymer, (C) a structural film layer consisting essentially of an ethylene-based polymer, and (D) a barrier adhesive layer, wherein the recyclable, all-polyethylene laminate film structure has an oxygen transmission rate not greater than 100 O.sub.2/m.sup.2/day, measured according to ASTM Method D3985. Articles comprising the disclosed laminate film structures, such as flexible packaging and stand-up pouches, are also disclosed.
PACKAGING FILMS FROM RECYCLED PLASTICS
The invention relates to a multilayer plastic film, in particular a multilayer plastic composite film, preferably a multilayer plastic packaging film, based on plastic recyclate (recycled plastic), in particular based on plastic recyclate originating from waste, with a plastic recyclate content of at least 80% by weight, based on the plastic film, and to its use, in particular as packaging material. The plastic recyclate is preferably post-consumer plastic recyclate (PCR plastic recyclate), in particular PCR recycled films.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE HOUSING AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
An electronic device housing includes an instrument, a first primer layer provided to cover the instrument, a film layer provided on the first primer layer, a second primer layer provided on the film layer, and a coating layer provided on the second primer layer. The film layer includes at least one overwrap at which the film layer overlaps that is configured to surround the first primer layer.
PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR POWER STORAGE DEVICE AND POWER STORAGE DEVICE USING THE SAME, METHOD OF PRODUCING PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR POWER STORAGE DEVICE, AND METHOD OF SELECTING SEALANT FILM USED AS SEALANT LAYER IN PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR POWER STORAGE DEVICE
A packaging material for a power storage device and a power storage device using the same, a method of producing a packaging material for a power storage device, and a method of selecting a sealant film used as a sealant layer in the packaging material for a power storage device are provided.
Recyclable film
Described herein are recyclable films with an outer surface comprising a polar polymer, such as polyamide, an inner surface comprising a sealant, and a polar polymer compatibilizer located between the polar polymer and the sealant. Preferably the outer surface is an outer layer of biaxially oriented polyamide and the inner surface is a multilayer inner film comprising the sealant and the compatibilizer.
