Grab bar for support in various environments
A grab bar includes a continuous support bar extending between a first end and a second end vertically spaced apart from the first end. The continuous support bar has a top section extending away from the first end, a bottom section extending away from the second end and angling upward toward the top section, and a bend formed between and connecting the top section and the bottom section. A brace member is coupled to and extends between the top section and the bottom section.

Adjustable bathing chair assembly
An adjustable bathing chair assembly includes a seat that has a slot is integrated into the seat such that that a user's genitals and inner thighs are accessible through the seat. A plurality of hydraulic pistons is each coupled to and extends downwardly from the seat such that each of the hydraulic pistons to support the seat above a floor of the bathtub. Each of the hydraulic pistons has an adjustable length. A pair of hydraulic pumps is each integrated into the seat and each of the hydraulic pumps is in fluid communication with a respective pair of the hydraulic pistons. Each of the hydraulic pumps is actuatable in a lowering condition to raise the seat and each of the hydraulic pumps is actuatable in a lifting condition to lower to the seat.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND MOUNTING SYSTEM
A support assembly that includes a structural member that is delimited by a first end and a second end with a first end cap configured to be at least partially disposed within the first end of the structural member and a second end cap configured to be at least partially disposed within the second end of the structural member to mount the structural member to a structure. The support assembly allows for forces to be applied in all directions without causing rotation or disengagement of the support assembly from a mounting structure.
Rotatable bath seat with linear actuator
Disclosed is a movable bath seat device employing a linear actuator to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The linear actuator employs a direct current motor with limit switches to move the seat between positions. The device permits an individual to take a position on the seat outside the bathtub and, by use of the actuator, move their torso to a position inside the bath tub side walls. The seat can then rotate, allowing an individual to lift their legs into the bathtub at their convenience. In a preferred embodiment, the cushion on the rotating seat assembly is constructed of a slip resistant padding comprised of medical grade, closed cell molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water.
Seat Covering Assembly
A seat covering assembly for a deterring slippage of a user upon a bathing chair includes a seat panel, which is selectively engageable to a seat of a bathing chair so that the seat panel is removably engaged to the seat and substantially covers an upper surface of the seat. The seat panel frictionally engages skin of a user who is positioned upon the seat. The seat panel thus deters slippage of the user relative to the seat. The seat covering assembly also may comprise a back panel, which is selectively engageable to a backrest of the bathing chair so that the back panel is removably engaged to the backrest and substantially covers a front face of the backrest. The back panel frictionally engages the skin of the user and deters slippage of the user relative to the backrest.
Fold-up Bath Bench with Stepped-down Booster Seat
A portable, fold-up bath bench for common alcove bathtubs has a stepped-down booster seat attached in front of the bench to assist people as they lower and raise themselves within the tub. The bench is pivotally attached to the rear rim of the tub; resting on the side walls of the tub in the down position, or standing up against the abutting wall in the raised position. The booster seat provides an intermediate seat midway between the bench and the tub floor, thereby making it easier to lower and lift yourself in the tub. When you are seated on the floor of the tub, the booster seat folds back against the rear wall of the tub, allowing you to stretch out, with full use of the tub. This device is a simple, self-assist mechanism which operates without any ancillary-power source. The bench design can be modified for use in free-standing bathtubs
Baby bath-support device
A baby bath-support device comprises a frame having a generally rigid body. The rigid body is adapted to be positioned on a surface of a bathing tub or sink. The frame has an opening in the upper portion. The opening comprises a peripheral edge. The opening also comprises a support panel made of a flexible material. The flexible material defines a concave support surface to support a baby laid thereon during bathing. The support panel contains perforations to allow fluid to flow through the support surface. The frame opening also comprises a connection arrangement between the frame and the support for hanging the support panel at the peripheral edge. The support panel is hung to the frame to partially cover the opening.
System and method for consolidating child care activities through a childcare station
A childcare station is disclosed. The childcare station can comprise at least two or more pairs of collapsible legs and a body mounted on top of said legs. The body can comprise a depressed portion at the top surface of said body, a basin, a top cover, a plurality of storages at one side of the body, and a seat placed on the other side of the body. A bottom surface of the basin is compatible with the depressed portion. The top cover can attach at a top edge portion of the body such that the top cover serves as a barrier device in providing access to the basin. A method of use is also disclosed that comprises the step of mounting into a childcare station as described above.
Rotating bath lift
Disclosed is a bath lift with a rotating seat assembly to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The rotating seat includes an assembly that can be raised or lowered using a DC powered linear actuator. The linear actuator will also move a backrest from an upright position to a reclined position. A controller includes logic to prevent operation should the batteries have insufficient power to raise the seat assembly. Slip resistant padding is comprised of medical-grade, closed cell, molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water and reduces the risk of skin tears.
