Standing Desk Mat
A standing desk mat comprising a multi-layered mat in which each layer comprises a different material. A cushion layer includes a soybean oil high-density memory foam pad. An example of the material comprising the cushion layer is high-density memory foam carpet cushion, a 10-pound high density frothed soybean oil and polyurethane, visco-elastic “memory foam” material. that is one hundred percent waterproof, recyclable and earth-friendly. A user-facing layer of the mat is attached to a side of the cushion layer and comprises a hand-loomed one hundred percent wool carpet. An optional non-skid layer is attached to another side of the cushion layer and configured to contact the underlying flooring.
Needle punched carpet
A needle punched carpet for use in a car is disclosed. The needle punched carpet comprises at least a needle punched facing layer defining a top layer and made of staple fibers. The staple fibers comprise hollow fibers having a hollow fiber content that is at least more than 45 weight % of the total staple fibers.
LOW WEIGHT MODULAR CARPET COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A low-weight carpet tile and process for making the same, wherein the carpet tile comprises a facecloth having a plurality of face yarns tufted through a primary backing, an extruded polymer secondary backing layer, and a reinforcing scrim layer partially un embedded within the extruded polymer secondary backing layer. The top surface and bottom surface of the carpet tile are defined by the facecloth and the reinforcing scrim layer, respectively. A polymer-based resin is extruded onto the facecloth to form an at least substantially uniform secondary backing layer, and the reinforcing scrim layer is laid onto the extruded polymer secondary backing layer while the extruded polymer secondary backing layer remains above a softening temperature for the resin. The entire multi-layer web is then passed through a nip to embed the reinforcing scrim layer into the extruded polymer secondary layer, and the entire web is chilled.
MULTI-PIECE RUG AND MAT ARRANGEMENT AND ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING
A multi-piece floor arrangement and assembly forms a floor covering that includes a top, or upper, rug portion and bottom, or lower, mat portion, and pocketed corner areas in each corner of an underside surface of the rug portion into which corresponding corners of the mat portion are insertable. The pocketed corner areas secure the rug portion with the mat portion when both are placed on an underlying surface while enabling a flow of air between the rug portion and the mat portion. The mat portion includes multiple interlocking sections that help to maintain the floor covering in a uniform planar shape and provide an aesthetically-pleasing appearance when placed on an underlying surface. The multi-piece arrangement and assembly does not move relative to that surface, yet does not require either a cumbersome installation or removal process.
Sound-Insulating Material and Sound-Absorbing Material
A sound-insulating material includes 16 to 24% by weight of a base resin having a thermoplastic olefin (TPO) and a polyolefin elastomer (POE) and 76 to 84% by weight of an inorganic filler. The sound-insulating material can be used, for example, as part of a sound-absorbing and sound-insulating material in a vehicle.

Carpet Products And Methods Of Manufacturing Same
A deconstructed tufted carpet having an at least partially visible primary backing. In aspects, deconstructed carpet can utilize the primary backing layer as a design element of the overall pattern and styling in order to reduce material use, waste and the ounce weight of the finished carpet and to improve the method of carpet construction. In order to expose the primary backing, at least some yarn can be pulled very low in the pattern areas to expose the primary backing layer. It is contemplated that the primary backing layer can have a color that comprises part of the overall pattern and styling of the carpet.
System and method for producing a heat-sealable composite liquid impervious, moisture-eliminating membrane with a metallic antimicrobial surface treatment
A system and method for producing a heat-sealable composite liquid impervious, moisture-eliminating membrane with a metallic antimicrobial surface treatment including a compatibilized thermoplastic laminate structure, an integral inductive-welding element, and a metallic antimicrobial surface treatment. The method is provided with at least one scrim, a film exudate, a quantity of primary adhesive, at least one susceptor, and a quantity of flocking material, wherein the scrim, film exudate, and flocking material are composed of a compatibilized thermoplastic compound. The method is further provided with an optional metallic slurry, defining a thermoplastic-particulate emulsion configured to coat and embed into a subjected membrane section and fibrous materials when exposed to heat. The method is further expanded to apply to extant installations of similar membrane sections, enabling to post-manufacture surface treatment of a surface with the metallic slurry to confer manifold antimicrobial benefits to said surface.
Element between backshift and primary backing method
Inverted carpet designs can be provided having new features. Specifically, instead of providing loop side up (like almost all carpet), the reverse side is used as the wear side (with back stitches showing). New features, like providing design elements intermediate or on the primary backing and the back stitches can be provided with various embodiments.
Sound-absorbing article with perforations in backing, surface coverings comprising same, and systems and methods of making and using same
A sound-absorbing article (e.g., a tufted sound-absorbing article) can comprise a backing having a thickness and a plurality of face fibers associated with the backing. Optionally, the face fibers can comprise a plurality of tufts extending through the backing. The backing can define a plurality of perforations that fully extend through the thickness of the backing and are provided in a pattern to determine an acoustic property of the sound-absorbing article. Within at least a portion of the backing, sequential perforations within the pattern of the plurality of perforations can be spaced center-to-center by between 5 mm and 100 mm.
