Processes for Collation Shrink Packaging with a Thermally Insulating Film
This invention relates to processes for collation shrink packaging of one or more items with a thermally insulating film, to films for such processes, to packages so made, and to methods for extruding such films. The one or more items packaged may be cans, bottles, pouches and other carriers of liquid or solids.
High-strength packaging bag with effects of heat preservation and watertightness, and preparation process thereof
A high-strength packaging bag with effects of heat preservation and watertightness is made of a composite paper. The composite paper includes an outer waterproof layer, an outer paper layer, a first adhesive layer, a heat-insulation and cushioning layer, a second adhesive layer, an inner paper layer and an inner waterproof layer arranged in sequence; and the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are both elastic adhesive layers.
INTERPENETRATING PHASE COMPOSITE STRUCTURES INCLUDING TRIPLY PERIODIC MINIMAL SURFACES AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
Interpenetrating phase composite (IPC) structures including triply periodic minimal surfaces and methods of forming the IPC structures are provided. The IPC structures may include unit cells connected to each other and arranged in three-dimensions. Each of the unit cells may include an IPC that consists of a first portion having a first volume and a second portion having a second volume. The first portion of the IPC may be substantially filled with a reinforcing material. A surface of the reinforcing material facing the second portion of the IPC may be a triply periodic minimal surface. A first one of the unit cells has a first ratio of the first volume to the second volume, a second one of the unit cells has a second ratio of the first volume to the second volume, and the first ratio and the second ratio may be different from each other.
FOLDABLE COMPOSITE MATERIAL SHEET AND STRUCTURE
A composite material and structure. The structure has a folded sheet having a rigid inner layer sandwiched between flexible outer layers. The sheet has an undulated shape with alternating summit and valley portions. Intermediate portions each extend between adjacent summit and valley portions. At least one score line extends through at least one of the flexible outer layers. The sheet is folded about the at least one score line. A method of forming a structure from a sheet having an undulated shape
SHOCK ABSORBING MAT/TILE AND FLOOR COVERING EMPLOYING THE SAME
A shock absorbing mat/tile comprises a body having a generally planar, major top surface and an opposite bottom surface and a plurality of shock absorbing members depending from the bottom surface. At least one of the shock absorbing members has at least one relief formation formed therein configured to accommodate lateral expansion of the shock absorbing member during axial compression thereof.
CELLULAR STRUCTURES WITH SIXTEEN-CORNERED CELLS
A cellular structure may include a plurality of cells each cell of the plurality of cells having a sixteen-cornered cross section. The sixteen-cornered cross section may include sixteen sides and sixteen corners. Each cell may include a plurality of longitudinal walls extending between a top and a bottom of the cell, the longitudinal walls intersecting to create corners of the cell.
Process for forming improved protective eco-friendly pouch and packaging and products made therefrom
The present invention relates generally to a protective wrap and a protective envelope or pouch made therefrom, as well as the apparatus and process for forming such wraps and envelopes. Water-based heat-expandable adhesives (WBHEA) which include a plurality of heat-expandable microspheres are disposed in a pattern between web substrates on a continuous, high speed manufacturing line to produce padded, insulated products useful as envelopes, mailers and other protective packaging.
IMPACT ABSORBING MATERIAL AND METHOD OF FORMING
A multilayered structure that includes a first layer having a first sheet of repulpable material, and second layer in direct contact with the first layer and including a hot melt adhesive composition in foam form such that a density of the second layer is no greater than 0.85 g/cc and the second layer exhibits a residual deformation value of no greater than 10%.
INSULATION PRODUCTS AND METHODS AND MACHINES FOR MAKING INSULATION PRODUCTS
A machine for making insulation may include two or more rotatory members configured to pull a precut insulation product at a first rate, wherein the precut insulation product comprises a first paper layer, a second paper layer, and a continuous paper core sheet, a first restraint and a second restraint spaced apart a predetermined distance to create a first space therebetween, and two or more second rotary members configured to feed a continuous paper sheet at a second rate into the first space such that the continuous paper sheet forms a plurality of flexible loops defining a plurality of air channels that extend in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction. The first rate may be slower than the second rate.
Air Bag Packaging Arrangement and Self-adhesive Checking Valve
An air bag packaging arrangement and a self-adhesive checking valve, the air bag packaging arrangement includes an air bag and an air valve which is the self-adhesive checking valve. The air bag includes first and second cell overlapped layers to form an air chamber and a valve opening. The air valve includes first and second sealing films overlapped between the first and second cell layers, and a strengthening film provided between the first valve film and the first cell film to strengthen a joint strength between the first valve film and the first cell film, so as to prevent the first valve film from being broken, so as to further avoid an air leakage.
