Bathtub support member
A support member for a bathtub comprises a base and a plurality of flexible elements. The base includes an upper surface configured to be coupled to a bathtub. The plurality of flexible elements extend laterally outward from a side of the base and are configured to engage a lower portion of the bathtub.
Carrier Body for Sanitary Surface Material
A carrier body assembly for forming part or all of a shower floor includes a rigid carrier body having a bearing surface for sanitary surface material such as tile and a sealing membrane that overlies the top or bottom surface of the carrier body but is attached to only a portion of the top or bottom surface. The unattached portion of the membrane is folded away from the carrier body to enable trimming of the carrier body to fit without damaging the membrane. After installation of the carrier body the membrane overlies the adjacent shower structure to form a watertight, water-impermeable connection between the carrier body and the adjacent shower structure.
Carrier body for sanitary surface material, method of adapting such a carrier body to floor dimensions of a sanitary shower facility, and use of the carrier body
The invention relates to a carrier body (1) for sanitary surface material, having a bearing surface for the sanitary surface material, having a floor surface for arranging on an underlying surface, having a through-opening which runs approximately in the vertical direction of the horizontal carrier body, and forms lateral end surfaces, and having a sealing element, which covers over at least one of the surfaces at least in part, wherein the sealing element on the at least one surface is fixed only to a first sub-region (11) and loosely covers over at least a further, second sub-region (12) of the surface. The invention also relates to a method of adapting such a carrier body to the desired floor dimensions of a sanitary shower facility, and to the use of this carrier body for a sanitary cubicle.

Living hinge creation through vacuum forming of a thermoformable plastic sheet
A bathing vessel is made of a segmented sheet wall of layered materials that includes a first layer of polyurethane material, a second layer of polyurethane material attached to the first layer, a third layer of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material attached to the second layer, and a fourth layer of acrylic material attached to the third layer. The segmented sheet wall has a width a length and a first thickness. The segmented sheet wall has an integral first portion having a second thickness that is that is thinner than the first thickness. The first portion defines a first wall and a second wall in the segmented sheet wall and the first portion is corrugated.

Method of forming a bathing vessel
A bathing vessel that includes a multi-layer structure of a first polymer layer and a second, adjacent polymer layer. Prior to formation of the second polymer layer on the first polymer layer, a surface of the first polymer layer is abraded and a surface wetting property of the surface is modified to promote bonding between the layers.

Method for bathing vessel having wood-containing base board
A method of manufacturing a bathing vessel includes forming a base by contacting an incompletely cured polyurethane material with a wood-containing composite panel. The polyurethane material is then cured while in contact with the wood-containing composite panel to chemically bond the polyurethane material with the panel. At least one wall is then attached to extend vertically from the base. The wall is a multi-layer structure of layers of acrylic material, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene material and the polyurethane material.
