Sheet processing device and sheet processing method
A sheet processing device includes a tape binding processing unit, a paper discharge unit, and a control unit. The tape binding processing unit performs tape binding processing on a sheet bundle. The paper discharge unit discharges the sheet bundle subjected to the tape binding processing onto a paper discharge tray. The control unit is configured to control at least one of the tape binding processing unit and the paper discharge unit, such that a first tape binding of the first bundle of sheets and a second tape binding of the second bundle of sheets are not in contact with each other when the first bundle of sheets and the second bundle of sheets are stacked on the paper discharge tray.
TEMPLATE GENERATION
Examples associated with template generation are disclosed. One example includes identifying a set of edges of a set of labels from an image of a sheet of labels. Members of the set of labels in an unused state are also identified. A printing template is generated for the sheet of labels based on the edges of the set of labels and based on which members of the set of labels are in an in-used state.

INKJET CTP METHOD FOR PREPARING A SET OF LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATES
A method of preparing a first and second lithographic printing plate for lithographic printing of a colour digital image on a receiver wherein the colour digital image includes a plurality of colorant separations; the method including the steps of jetting droplets by an inkjet CTP system on a first lithographic support for the first lithographic printing plate thereby forming a printing area of a first lithographic image which represents a first colorant separation of the plurality of colorant separations; and jetting droplets by the inkjet CTP system on a second lithographic support for the second lithographic printing plate thereby forming a printing area of a second lithographic image which represents a second colorant separation of the plurality of colorant separations; and wherein the method of preparing a first and second lithographic printing plates is characterized by forming a part of or whole the first and second lithographic image in a print pass by the inkjet CTP system.

Plate-making method, plate-making system and can body
A plate-making method for manufacturing a printing plate includes: manufacturing the printing plate based on a knockout method in which knockouts of halftone dots in one color are formed, and halftone dots in the other color are overprinted onto positions of the knockouts; for each of pixels, when a sum of a halftone dot area ratio of the one color and a halftone dot area ratio of the other color is smaller than 100%, forming a gap from a knockout in the one color around a halftone dot in the other color; and for each of pixels, when the sum of the halftone dot area ratio of the one color and the halftone dot area ratio of the other color is greater than 100%, forming an overmask such that the halftone dot in the other color penetrates a periphery of the halftone dot in the one color.

Methods and systems of generating a lenticular article using a printing blanket
A method for a production of a lenticular image. The method comprises feeding a lenticular printing substrate having a corrugated side and a printing side into a digital printing press, feeding at least one nontransparent ink to set a substantially nontransparent layer on a printing blanket of the printing press, feeding a plurality of colored inks to set an interlaced color image layer on top of the substantially nontransparent layer on the printing blanket, and printing with the printing blanket onto the printing side.
