20170105568 · 2017-04-20 ·

A kettle has a container and a guiding board. The container has a body. The body has an upper segment, a lower segment, and a through hole defined in the lower segment and having a top edge and a bottom edge. The guiding board is attached securely to an inner surface of the lower segment of the body, covers the through hole, and has a guiding segment. The guiding segment is attached securely to the inner surface of the lower segment of the body at a position below the bottom edge of the through hole, is curved in cross section, extends upward and toward the central line of the body, is free from forming a through bore, and has a top edge higher than the bottom edge of the through hole and lower than the top edge of the through hole.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEVICE USAGE MONITORING

In an exemplary method of monitoring usage of an electronically operated dispenser, a dispensing mechanism is operated by an internal controller of the dispenser in response to user activation of an actuator of the dispenser in communication with the controller. In response to operation of the dispensing mechanism, dispenser data is written to an internal dispenser memory in wired communication with the controller, with the controller and the dispenser memory being electrically connected with and powered by a power source. The dispenser memory receives a wireless interrogation signal from an external reader and collects energy from the wireless interrogation signal. In response to receipt of the wireless interrogation signal, the dispenser memory wirelessly transmits the written dispenser data to the external reader, with the dispenser memory being powered by the collected energy.

Dispensers for diluting a concentrated liquid and dispensing the diluted concentrate

Exemplary embodiments of dispensers are disclosed herein. One exemplary dispenser is a soap or sanitizer dispenser. The dispenser includes a housing. A removable and replaceable concentrate container for holding concentrated soap or sanitizer is located within the housing. A concentrate pump is in fluid communication with the concentrate container. A diluent container for holding a liquid is also located within the housing and a diluent pump for pumping the diluent is also included. The dispenser includes a mixing chamber in fluid communication with the concentrate pump and the diluent pump. The dispenser includes an outlet. When concentrated soap or sanitizer is pumped from the concentrate container, it mixes with diluent pumped from the diluent container to form a diluted mixture. The diluted mixture is dispensed at the outlet of the dispenser.
