The present disclosure provides an absorbent towel for drying hair which comprises one or more pockets disposed on a surface along one or more edges such that when a user wraps the towel about their wet hair and twists the loose end, the loose end can be inserted into one of the exposed pockets effectively, rather than having to find a place to tuck it from which it may come loose. In this manner the towel of the present disclosure provides a firm fit on the head and stays in place, and users do not have to repeatedly reposition the hair on the head. A method of manufacture of the towel is also provided herein.

An assembly, in one embodiment, compromising an exercise mat having a top layer and a bottom layer, and a towel is described. The top layer of the exercise mat is configured to have a first exposed surface. The towel comprises a first surface and second surface, the first surface configured to be coupled to the first exposed surface of the top layer of the exercise mat, the surface area of the towel being less than or equal to a surface area of the top surface of the exercise mat.

The satin towel is a composite textile structure. The satin towel is configured for use in drying hair. The satin towel incorporates an absorbent sheeting and one or more satin sheetings. The one or more satin sheetings attach to the absorbent sheeting such that each of the one or more satin sheetings forms an exterior surface of the satin towel.
