Threadable heat transfer press with adjustable stand
Exemplary presses, e.g., for applying indicia to garments by application of heat, are disclosed. For example, a press may include an upper platen, and a lower platen disposed below and generally aligned with the upper platen. The press may further include a support head adapted to move the upper platen between an open position, wherein the upper and lower platens are spaced away from one another, and a closed position, wherein the upper platen is pressed against the lower platen. Exemplary presses may further include a stand supporting the press.

A liquid discharge apparatus includes a first discharge unit, a second discharge unit, and a third discharge unit. The first discharge unit has a first nozzle face having a first nozzle to discharge ink from the first nozzle onto an area of a recording medium to form an image on the recording medium. The second discharge unit has a second nozzle face having a second nozzle to discharge a pretreatment liquid from the second nozzle to the area of the recording medium. The third discharge unit has a third nozzle face having a third nozzle to discharge a diluent from the third nozzle.

A heat press device is provided that includes a support structure, a first platen and a heating element assembly that includes a heating element and a second platen. The heat press device further includes a movement assembly configured to change a pressure state between the first platen and the second platen when the heat press device is in a closed configuration. The heat press device can also include an indicator that is configured to convey the pressure state between the first platen and the second platen when the heat press device is in the closed configuration.

The controller is configured to control the head so as: to execute ejecting the ink from the head to a medium based on image data and in accordance with a print mode including first and second print modes, an usage amount of the ink in the second print mode is smaller than that in the first print mode, and in a case where the print mode is the second print mode, to execute outputting, as a transfer condition for transferring a print image printed on the medium to a transfer medium, a second transfer condition rather than a first transfer condition, a transfer energy for transferring the print image from the medium to the transfer medium being greater in the second transfer condition than in the first transfer condition.

Heat press apparatuses, systems, and methods
A heat press includes a handle portion and a curved heat plate. That handle portion may be configured to be grasped by a user, and the curved heat (i.e., having a curved engagement surface) may be configured to engage a heat-activated design implement to transfer a design of the heat-activated design implement to a curved surface of a workpiece. Also disclosed herein, according to various embodiments, is a heat press stand having a curved floor and a hat form for supporting a workpiece (e.g., a hat) during a heat-activated design transfer using the heat press. Associated methods are also disclosed herein.

Heat transfer press projection alignment system and method
A transfer press for applying a transfer to a garment includes an upper platen, a lower platen, a support head adapted to move the upper platen between an open position and a closed position, to apply heat to at least one of the upper platen and the lower platen to apply a transfer to a garment positioned on the lower platen, and a support arm assembly. The projection assembly is attached to the support arm assembly and extends above the lower platen, the projection assembly having a projector positioned to project an image to the lower platen, the image selected to match in size with the transfer to be applied to the garment, to guide a user where to place the transfer onto the garment.
