DISPERSIBLE ADHESIVELY BONDED TISSUE LAMINATE
20220332085 · 2022-10-20 ·

Disclosed is a dispersible adhesively bonded wet tissue laminate and more particularly a dispersible wet wipe comprising two or more adhesively bonded tissue plies. Generally, the wipe comprises first, and second tissue plies adhesively bonded to one another by an adhesive, particularly a triggerable binder, disposed at the interface of the plies. The first and second tissue plies preferably comprise fibrous tissue plies and more preferably wet-laid tissue plies consisting essentially of conventional papermaking fibers. The adhesively bonded laminates are generally strong enough to withstand use, such as having a geometric mean wet tensile strength (GMWT) greater than about 250 g/in, but disperse quickly in water, such as having a Slosh Time less than about 60 minutes.

TOPICALLY TREATED TISSUE PRODUCT

Disclosed is a low-cost, in-line process for treating a fibrous web with a lotion. The process generally involves passing a web through a nip formed by a pair of opposed surfaces, where one of the surfaces has been treated with a lotion having a penetration hardness greater than 5.0 mm. As the web passes through the nip, the lotion is transferred from one of the opposed surfaces to the surface of the web. In certain instances, the web may have a textured surface and only a portion of the web's textured surface is treated with a lotion.

Toilet tissue comprising a non-clingy surface

Fibrous structures, for example toilet tissue, having a surface including a plurality of fibrous elements, such as a plurality of hydroxyl polymer filaments that exhibit an average fiber diameter of less than 2 μm as measured according to the Surface Average Fiber Diameter Test Method such that the fibrous structure exhibits a Dual Surface Glide Value of less than 17.7 g as measured according to the Glide Test Method—3 Inch Sample and method for making same is provided.

MULTIPURPOSE TOILET ROLL HOLDER APPARATUS
20230109410 · 2023-04-06 ·

The present invention concerns improvements in and relating to toilet roll holder apparatus to accommodate toilet rolls of conventional diameter as well as any greater diameter along with preventing unnecessary wastage of the toilet rolls, and downward pivotal movement of the toilet roll, wherein the toilet roll holder apparatus comprises pairs of extender adapters of two different sizes, wherein one pair is of small-sized extender adapters for accommodating a large toilet roll and a standard toilet roll, and another pair is of large-sized extender adapters for accommodating an X-large toilet roll. The multipurpose toilet roll holder apparatus of the present invention also comprises a spindle for rotatably supporting any size of the toilet roll by holding the toilet roll firmly in place.

Smooth and bulky tissue

The present disclosure provides high bulk tissue products, as well as an apparatus and methods for manufacturing the same. The tissue products provided herein not only have high bulk, but they also have improved surface smoothness, particularly compared to tissue products of similar basis weights.

Creped multi-ply tissue product

Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable, smooth and with low levels of Slough. In certain instances the creped tissue product have a geometric mean tensile (GMT) from about 700 to about 1,500 g/3″, a basis weight from about 45 to about 60 gsm and a Slough less than about 2.00 mg, more preferably less than about 1.50 mg, such as from about 0.10 to about 2.00, such as from about 0.25 to about 1.50 mg. The inventive tissue products also have good durability, such as a Durability Index from about 10.0 to about 20.0, smooth surfaces, such as a TS750 value from about 15.0 to 40.0 and low stiffness, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 10.0.
